"Th room was clean and good for the price. The shower was only warm. The room photo in the booking app wasn’t the same as we were given. When I questioned the room allotted I was told that it wasn’t the correct room photo. I had taken a snap of the room I booked and when I showed the receptionist she said we could change rooms the next day. The area isn’t the greatest but we knew that and it was close to where we needed to be for a sports event. However we were not expecting a police raid on a nearby room at 6am, which was quite unsettling. Nothing from the staff, no apology! Reception closed at 5pm and, as we were checking out early the next morning, I went to ask about where to leave the key..the door was open but nobody in sight..it was before 5pm. "

"The room was old and unclean. Hair on the floor, a mouldy rubber bath mat and the bathroom cupboard wouldn't open. I had to use my comb to push it open to get to the hair dryer. "

"Great location and convenient. Room was basic but had everything we needed for a layover on our way to the airport. The only couple things were the over powering deodoriser smell walking through the corridors to and from our room, was very strong that we could almost taste it. The other thing was the bistro, went for dinner and ordered a bowl of chips with gravy poured on top, my chips came out lukewarm bordering cold and the gravy was cold, the waitress was good when told and we received a replacement bowl. We found these things very minor and overall enjoyed our stay and would stay again."

"As usual Mercure - Penrith was very good. Staff behind courtesy desk was very friendly . This trip I was gifted with a bottle of wine. We chose Shiraz for Mother’s Day . Thank you for sharing and rewarding me on this special occasion."
