I liked the fact that I was the only guest at the property, so I had the full attention of the staff for my needs (although minimal). I didn’t like that I never saw security on the premises at night although I was advised that they would be there every night. However regardless I did feel safe at the property.

Great little place. Perfect for my partner and me to relax. We were the only people there for the whole week with 3 lovely staff members. Lee made great Pina Coladas and Mary was great on breakfasts.

Quick answer the place is amazing, if I could give it an extra star I would! Now the review. I don’t know where to start!!! We rented our own car and stopped for breakfast before traveling straight to The View. The drive there was amazing, watch out for the cows, horses and dogs on the sides of the roads, but the scenery was magnificent. We found the entrance to the view through Maui Bay. We showed up about noon a little early but figured we could check the property out before checking in, to our surprise the room was ready!! The staff greeted us and showed us around, very friendly people( little did we know by the end we would feel like we were leaving family)The room was perfect we had the honeymoon suite. Flowers on the bed cleanliness was above par. The scenery was amazing, the food was outstanding and tea time daily at 4pm was a bonus. The snorkeling at the View was an added bonus I feel like they should charge for the guided snorkeling because of everything we saw, but it was free. So snorkeling I’m considering the 2nd best only to Coral Cats, our other snorkeling trips were ok but Coral Cats and Lee at the View were amazing trips. Thank you Chloe, Sefo, Lee, Tia and Lesi, you made our dream anniversary/ honeymoon a reality!! Can’t wait to come back, see you all soon.

The experience was made for us simply because of the team at the view, the staff were passionate, ensured we felt looked after and gave insight into local areas that would be directly helpful in tailoring to our experience. My partner and I were so impressed and made to feel at home, we wanted the staff to share our experience with us, we bought extra food for the lovo to share with them, had a bon fire drinks night with and visited one of staff’s villages to attend church. We both felt at home and the sheer amount of warmth and fun we had, has left this a destination no. 1 for return whenever we need a relaxing holiday with our Fiji family. #2019TeamOfTheYear

Check-in at The View was a bit awkward. They didn't really seem to know what was going on. They booked the cab for us and the man who got our bags questioned how much we paid the cab driver, made it seem like a shady deal and that made me uncomfortable. The staff didn't really seem to know what was going and kept talking at us from all different directions, including asking us to put a vase of flowers in our room. Overall, our stay here was nice but I can't say I would return. The beach was rocky and trash was visible. It would make such a difference if they cleaned this up. The Property Manager was great but wasn't around much. They also let us have a complimentary late check out which was appreciated.

DIsappointing
Bathroom was dirty and seemed like was not cleaned for a while. The kitchen was not stocked properly with food. About 90% of the time the items that we requested was out of stock. The next store was not in walking distance and did not seem safe. AC leaked. There was nothing much going on or to do. The only thing good was the view of the ocean.

Beautiful villa looking out over the pool to the sea. Excellent for a relaxing break. The staff were lovely, extremely welcoming and friendly. The food was great but bring back the cocktails! The only fault was the hotel needs a much better sign at the front as we arrived at night and struggled to find it as did the other couples there.

Perfect romantic getaway
This resort was such a special place. My husband and I came here to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary and it was perfect. Right on the beach, sparkling clean pool, friendly staff and just a really special location. The private outdoor shower was a lovely highlight as was the super size bath. It is a bit hard to find though so make sure you have good directions before you go.

Not great. Very run down for the price. Lacking in service and the food was not great. Cocktails ... they could only make one of the 20 on the list. Safe was not working so we ended up with the master key. Coffee machine in their marketing was non existent. They only had instant coffee on the premises. Bath didn't hold water! Had to ask for soap and toilet paper

Clean, Quiet and Fantastic location.
Maui Bay Adults Only is exceptional. I have been to Fiji on Seven ocassions and this is up there with the best. Staff are tremendous, food was great, pool was clean and tidy, room was big and comfortable. Only issue we had was the electricity went out on a few occasions and the wifi was poor at best. Still highly recommend to anyone who wants to truly relax without children.

A LITTLE BIT OF PARADISE
With only 4 bures this place is a perfect paradise for those who want to get away from it all. Whilst it does not have all the facilities of a big hotel the personalized friendly service of the lovely staff more than make up for the glitz of a big hotel. Set on the edge of a beautiful bay on the Coral Coast the large Balanese style bure provides ample space and comfort. We would certainly return to Maui Bay adults only on our next visit to Fiji. If you want this tranquility make sure you book in the adults only waterfront villas as the other Maui Bay property is across the road and does not offer the same beautiful location.

Memorable location on the Coral Coast
We had an amazing trip to Fiji. The Maui Bay Adults Only Beach Villa was a great place to spend our time. If your looking for a very quiet location on the water then this will not disappoint. The staff were wonderful, and really made us feel welcome. Netty, Milly, Joe and the rest of the team did a great job. The beaches and coral reef were beautiful and teeming with fish. One tip is to take some rubber shoes so you can walk through the shallows. There are meals available at the villas, breakfast, lunch and dinner. The food was great. We did venture out to Eco Café for pizza, and Wicked Walu seafood restaurant for an amazing seafood platter, only a short taxi drive from the villas. There is a small supermarket within walking distance, but I will reiterate it is not built up here. We went with the intention of just relaxing, and this spot was perfect.

PERFECT Honeymoon spot to RELAX <3
My husband & I booked this for our honeymoon (2 weeks)! It was 3 days after our wedding so we wanted to just RELAX. This was JUST the place! It was quiet, beautiful, & we felt we really got a great deal! The staff are friendly & helpful. They even told us about culture, & where we can see fire dancing and Fijian dancing. The room was clean, beautiful with high ceilings. We left our AC on most of the time to keep the room cool since it was very hot & humid (April/May). It did rain a few times, but the room was so nice we didn't mind staying in. They offer snorkeling, paddle boarding, & we even got to swim with baby sharks! Locals are very friendly even if they walk around with machetes (to cut fruit). Food: They cooked for us at the location & we could eat wherever we liked. (in the room, by the pool, on the deck overlooking the ocean, etc) & we didn't spend a fortune on food! There is a supermarket right down the road (in case you need anything-NO AC). They even sell alcohol! We went to the market to buy water, wine, & ice cream to stock our freezer & fridge (which they supplied to us in our honeymoon suite). There is ECO Café right down the road (you will need a car for this).. We rented a car so we could go wherever we wanted. ECO Café makes a chickwian pizza (pizza with pineapples, olives, and chicken) it was good, we ate there a few times. You can sit inside the open hut with ocean views or outside with ocean views on wood carved tables and stumps. IT was AWESOME!

Beautiful villa with secluded beach
My partner and I stayed here for 8 days during out Fiji. Our stay was absolutely amazing, the staff were more then accommodating and helpful. The food was prepared daily and to die for, make sure you have the lovo feast if you get the chance to stay here. The beach is just a small walk from your front door with beautiful snorkelling opportunities and free use of paddle boards and kayaks makes the days even better.

Tranquility and peacefulness with wonderful staff
Maui Bay Adults Only Resort is a haven for people looking for quiet and solitude; just 4 villas and a small team of wonderful staff, directly on the beach with reef just off the coast to snorkel. The villas are spacious and comfortable - though keep in mind the garden bure is below the kitchen and can be a bit noisy with people walking above. The best thing about this resort is the staff; nothing was too much for Nellie, Nettie, Lennie, and Joe. I was well looked after with genuine care and friendliness. I hated leaving!

Breathtaking Views, Wonderful Staff
We arrived at Maui Bay Villas and the first thing you notice is the crystal clear lagoon view. The friendly staff welcomed us. Millie and her team of staff Nettie, Melly, Elenny & Joe spoilt us over our 5 night stay (including one night setting up a private dinner on the beach for my husband and I). If you are looking for a quiet location this is a perfect area to stay in. We wanted a holiday for total relaxation and we certainly received it Maui Bay Beach Villas. Thank you all the staff who looked after us during our stay. Highly recommend a Massage during your stay. We stayed in the honeymoon villa and it was really spacious and was perfect for our stay. We will definatley be returning the Maui Bay Villas.

This is the place to stay - however, when booking ensure you confirm you are at the ADULT ONLY Maui Bay - otherwise there is a 2 star behind us. There is 4 Villas only right on the ocean, about 900 square feet. The water is clear, clean and excellent for snorkeling - it is absolutely deserted - no noise, no music and made for couples and/or single person travelling for tranquility - there are 4 great restaurants surrounding the area; Chill and Grill - Eco Café - He-Na-Wan - I'd skip the Warrick only to have a drink and watch the sun set

Very nice pool area.
We would like to suggest a few improvements to this hotel that would make the accommodation a much more enjoyable stay.We stayed in the garden room which was nice and spacious but what we didn't realize was that this room was directly below the kitchen which was very noisy so be prepared to be woken up with loud noises at 7.00 a.m ,unfortunately the staff are only doing their job it's just a bad position for the room. The second thing was the hot water was either cold or boiling hot you could not adjust to a comfortable or safe temperature. The staff are very nice and friendly and helpful. The hotel has a very nice pool area with a lovely outlook to the beach,its also a nice beach for snorkeling .Food was a bit hit and miss also , breakfast was good but dinner depended on who was on duty for cooking that night. This could be a really great hotel for a couples retreat but just needs a few improvements.

Quiet location with spectacular ocean views
The villas are a distance from town or city but the buses are cheap and frequent. Our villa was very spacious with large lounge, large bedroom and the biggest bath we have ever seen! The facilities in the villa were adequate and we lacked nothing important. There were efficient ceiling fans as well as air conditioning in the lounge and bedroom. The staff were fantastic and so friendly and helpful. They worked so well together as a team.They cooked great individual meals which we could eat outside or in our room. There were free use of canoes and snorkelling gear with the added bonus of their staff to go with us if we desired. The pool was clean and warm. The sun loungers and outside seating were comfortable. The beach is small and the water very shallow so canoeing and snorkelling are best done at high tide.

Perfect spot in paradise
We fell in love with this place, it was absolutely perfect. The villa was pristine, a huge four poster bed, a private pool and a huge stone bath, as well as an outdoor rain shower, coffee machine and fridge. it was made up everyday with fresh towels, toiletries and robes and had aircon and it's own deck area and lounges to sunbathe. It is really small and low key so we found it very friendly and the staff made us feel so welcome. It also has a pristine communal pool and terrace and a beautiful area above the beach to have meals and drinks. The staff here made the stay, they go above and beyond to look after you, the ladies Nettie, Millie and ellenie made beautiful food and the guys john, Joe and meli helped us with activities. They have stand up paddle boards, snorkelling equipment and kayaks to use free of charge and they even showed us the best spots to snorkel. They also helped us arrange to go diving and with any transport. My partner arranged a private birthday dinner on the beach with cake and the staff made such a beautiful job of it, it was unforgettable. Thank you for such a perfect stay Maui bay adult only villas, you all made it so special.

Hidden Gem
We have just returned home from our stay at Maui Bay Holiday villas and loved it. Definitely the place you want to head to if you want to relax by the beach in Fiji. The fact the villas are adults only was extremely appealing to us too! We stayed in the honeymoon villa, so would highly recommend this to other couples wanting a private getaway. The honeymoon villa is so spacious with its own private courtyard and pool. Milly & Nettie are amazing cooks, everything we ate was beautiful! A big thank you to all the other staff including Joe, Saki and Mele they all made everything so easy and made us feel like part of the family. My advice to other travellers would be, weigh up your options when it comes to a rental car verse airport transfer. It worked out cheaper for us to get a rental car for 7 days verse the airport transfer from and to the airport. It also meant we had the flexibility to travel wherever and whenever we wanted as Maui Bay is a fair distance from anything.  There is a supermarket across the road which is super handy to reduce eating and drinking out costs! Sehr freundliches und zuvorkommendes Personal, die sich perfekt um die 6 Gäste gekümmert haben. Nachmittags gab es sogar extra Kaffee und frisch gebackenen Kuchen. Die kleine Anlage , eine Hochzeitssuite, 2 Villas mit Meerblick und eine mit Gartenblick war sehr ruhig mit sehr sauberen Pool. Leider war der Strand nicht schön aber wer Ruhe und einen Super Service sucht ist hier genau richtig.

En dejlig lille perle
Positive var: super snorkling fra stranden, hyggeligt personale, udsigten og dejlig pool. Lille spadser tur til supermarked. Spektakulær solnedgang fra resort 500m til højre langs stranden. Negativt var: trafik støj i soveværelset Da det ligger ud mod hoved vejen og meget lydt ind til nabo lejligheden som deler en let væg. Og dårlig udlugnings mulighed i soveværelset så det var fugtighed i efter nogle dage med regn vejr. Alt i alt var vi meget tilfreds med the view og kommer gerne igen.

Das Hotel ist in der Nacht sehr schlecht zu finden !! Sehr schlechte Beschreibung. Der Strand ist nicht sauber. Am Hotelabgang zum Strand liegt Müll herum. Plastikflaschen und alte Badeschuhe...unglaublich. Das Hotel selber ist sauber und gut. Umweltschutz ist hier kein Thema !? Sehr gutes WIFI im Hotel, ohne Datenvolumenbegrenzung....klasse.
