My husband & I booked this for our honeymoon (2 weeks)! It was 3 days after our wedding so we wanted to just RELAX. This was JUST the place! It was quiet, beautiful, & we felt we really got a great deal! The staff are friendly & helpful. They even told us about culture, & where we can see fire dancing and Fijian dancing. The room was clean, beautiful with high ceilings. We left our AC on most of the time to keep the room cool since it was very hot & humid (April/May). It did rain a few times, but the room was so nice we didn't mind staying in. They offer snorkeling, paddle boarding, & we even got to swim with baby sharks! Locals are very friendly even if they walk around with machetes (to cut fruit).
Food: They cooked for us at the location & we could eat wherever we liked. (in the room, by the pool, on the deck overlooking the ocean, etc) & we didn't spend a fortune on food! There is a supermarket right down the road (in case you need anything-NO AC). They even sell alcohol! We went to the market to buy water, wine, & ice cream to stock our freezer & fridge (which they supplied to us in our honeymoon suite).
There is ECO Café right down the road (you will need a car for this).. We rented a car so we could go wherever we wanted. ECO Café makes a chickwian pizza (pizza with pineapples, olives, and chicken) it was good, we ate there a few times. You can sit inside the open hut with ocean views or outside with ocean views on wood carved tables and stumps. IT was AWESOME!
