It is a nice, clean simple hotel. Staff was helpful and the room was fairly spacious. My complaints are: (1) the breakfast was well below average for a hotel, and (2) the location is, well, in the middle of nowhere.

Great place for families! Not so far from town, you can get a Taxi for 700-800 Yen or an Uber for 1400. There’s shuttle to the station but you have to book it, the front desk will arrange. The breakfast was really good, very Japanese not so occidental is something that you should know.

I would give this hotel 6 stars, or infinity stars if I could. This hotel was simply fantastic. The staff were amazing, friendly, and helpful. The entire property was clean, quiet, with clear attention to detail. The Onsen is HOT and amazing. The shuttle service you can use as you need to, and is free and incredibly convenient. FULL breakfast included was also great. Rooms such a nice size compared to city hotels. I will have stayed at ~30 different hotels this year for business and travel, and this is one of the best if not the best and the most memorable. Lawsons 5 min walk, restaurants 5 min walk, shopping centre 5 min walk, approx 25-30 min walk to the lake. Stay here.

The room was very nice! We had the best sleep here in 5 weeks of travel in Japan. Beds were very comfortable and the bathtub was welcome. Very nice place and would stay again!

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Regina! The location was excellent and very convenient for exploring the Kawaguchiko area. The service was outstanding—everyone was friendly, welcoming, and attentive throughout our stay. The breakfast was delicious with a great variety of choices, and definitely a highlight of our mornings. Our room was comfortable, and the private balcony facing Mt. Fuji was absolutely breathtaking! Waking up to such an incredible view was truly unforgettable. Overall, Hotel Regina exceeded our expectations. We highly recommend it to anyone visiting Kawaguchiko, especially if you want a relaxing stay with beautiful views of Mt. Fuji. We would definitely stay here again!

Every room has a balcony facing Mount Fuji. You can view Mount Fuji at all times of the day which is a luxury. Japanese breakfast was my second favorite. Healthy and delicious. This hotel is closer to Fuji Q Highland if you come by Highway bus. This bus stop is 5 minutes by taxi or shuttle to the hotel. It's walkable if you don't have too much luggage

The view at this hotel of Mt Fuji is amazing! It has a shuttle which takes you to the station and from there you can go wherever you want. The hotel is new or looks like new, we enjoy so much the night at the Regina, for sure will recommend it to my family and friends. If I ever return for sure will book it again!

The room was so large and beautiful. The complimentary shuttle service comes in very handy. Though the rainy season blocked the view of Mount Fuji, the area itself was so beautiful and serene. The front desk staff were all very kind. The only things I would improve are the laundry machines—they’re severely outdated and there’s only 2 washers and dryers on the entire property, and during the dinner, we were not permitted to select different options…our family of 7 (minus the one child) had to all get the same item according to staff.
