Das Kronprinz was everything we would want from a hotel and sensibly priced. Their breakfast, also reasonably priced, offered a very wide selection. The room was spacious and well furnished and had tea/coffee making facilities. Das Kronprinz is opposite the bus station and only a few minutes from the train station. A 4-minute train ride south takes you to the end of the Bonn tramway system. Cologne central station is about 20 minutes to the north and the airport is only a couple of stops away from Troisdorf. Troisdorf is a pleasant town with a selection of pubs, takeaways and restaurants.
