We rented the Junior Suite for a Family of 5, as is common in many parts of Asia, the room size was smaller when compared to Western hotel standards, but the layout was extremely efficient and well planned. The room included all the necessary amenities, made excellent use of space, and was comfortable, clean, and convenient. A great plus for traveling families is the In-Room washer/dryer. Overall, it was a pleasant stay and a great example of thoughtful hotel design in a compact space.

The room was spacious, had great amenities and it was an overall great experience! I would 100% stay there again. The room was overall very clean, though the floor could have been mopped a bit better, especially in the toilet room, I used some bleach wipes I had to spot clean so I didn’t call down to have them come address the issue. If you are traveling with family, especially kids, this is a great place to stay!

I read all the reviews before I booked this hotel yet I felt very disappointed. For so many English reviews, this hotel does not have a staff that speaks English well, if at all. Only one person could really help us and the rest barely understood our needs or questions. I asked for cream for my coffee. They didn’t have it and didn’t know what I was asking for. The front desk said they would look for some….never followed up. I asked for take away breakfast the morning we had to leave early. When we arrived at the front desk at 5:30am and inquired about our take away, the person at the front desk spoke zero English and hence, no take away was ready for us upon check out. We didn’t expect a 2 level hotel room. The bathroom is downstairs and the stairs are steep leading up to the bedroom. The pillows were uncomfortable. The private bath with salts was wonderful, everything was super clean, and overall the hotel is very pretty. I love coffee but mini creamers (doesn’t take like creamer whatsoever) they provide taste like heavy plastic and chemicals. If you’re used to morning coffee with cream, you will not get this here. All the other hotels we visited in Japan ( The 1 Hotel Tokyo and the W Osaka) brought up fresh real cream to our room with our coffee. The included breakfast was honestly not good at all. We decided to cancel the rest of our included breakfast at the hotel. For over $500 US per night I really felt this hotel could’ve been so much better.

The property is extremely beautiful, the amenities, especially the onsen bath were amazing and the rooms were spacious, clean and thoughtfully designed. The breakfast and lunch were delicious and the bar staff were relatively attentive. The front staff were helpful and attentive. If you need to do laundry they do have public coin laundry but it is always very busy so you may be waiting a very long time. We wish we would’ve upgraded our room with laundry included as we ended up having to go to a laundromat down the street (in the rain).

場所は有名は寺院にも近いし、スタッフの皆さん、丁寧で親切でした！部屋に洗濯機もついているし、風呂場の乾燥システムで乾かすのも楽でした。キッチンもついているので、簡単なものなら部屋で作って食べられます。
