"Breakfast was great hot and fresh ..well presented. Room was not what i had paid for ..falsley advertised was incorrect on website as large superior room with sea view ...paid extra for ....but room did not exist "

"Lovely stay at Belsfield. Beautiful grounds, gardens well maintained & located right next on the lake with boat services & bus services nearby. This is the first time we refused to bring the car & didn’t miss it at all. The hotel was very peaceful, staff all great. Shout to Diego for being super helpful with several requests we had. Alina provided excellent restaurant service alongside her Manager. Food was of a good quality with breakfast offering adequate choice and everything was efficiently cleared away as soon as you finished eating. Only improvement I’d suggest is housekeeping attend each day, it seemed to be every other day & we found ourselves asking for toilet paper in reception, not ideal! We will be back to stay though and thank you!"

"The hotel was very well kept and our bedroom we think had been recently refurbished and was lovely and clean. The breakfast was lovely with lots of choice and the scenery out of the window over the duck pond was beautiful. The grounds were well maintained with seating areas outside and also around the duck pond. The only problem we encountered was the Jacuzzi on the second night was a bit hot to sit in but we still had the pool and steam and sauna to enjoy. We enjoyed this hotel so much we have booked to go back in July. Very highly recommended."

"A lovely traditional style home in a fantastic location. Comfortable bed, excellent breakfast and a nice spa. A very good breakfast included. Free parking Location and view are fantastic, with a couple of mins walk to the Windermere cruises dock, with easy access to Bowness and Ambleside. There are several nice walks in the local area. The rooms are a little dated/traditional in style, and the bathrooms could use a little refurbishment but the room was very comfy and well ventilated. No issues with that as long as you aren’t expecting a brand new modern style of room decor. Fantastic view of the lake which was a joy to wake up to. Service in the restaurants was very good and the staff were helpful. Overall a very good stay and I would happily stay there again."
