Best hotel I’ve ever stayed in by far , they couldn’t co enough for us and the rooms and place are absoluxley (see what I did there) amazing . We got engaged and they helped . Will deffo be returning

I rarely write reviews about holiday stays but had to do so for our three night stay at Grange Manor. The room was fabulous-luxurious,spotless and so comfortable and the extra finishing touches made it a home from home. Breakfast served every morning in the room was a delight. No noisy dining room nor rush to have table cleared away. All was at our pace which was what we wanted. The Phesant Inn was a wonderful place to stay. The breakfast was superb with an excellent choice. The staff were polite and attentive. Room 11 offered us a king bed with an excellent view.

Real luxury, and a quiet, dark night's sleep.

Beautiful hotel in beautiful location. The attention to detail was fantastic far more than expected. The team at the Hideaway go above and beyond to make sure your stay is memorable. We had a wonderful weekend.

Fantastic friendly and helpful staff. Good food

Hard to access carpark on site. Very cramped entrance on a major slope and limited parking space. We were met on arrival after ringing doorbell by woman who wasn't very friendly. She asked us how we managed to get into reception as we apparently shouldn't have been able as door should have been locked or closed. (Dont see how that was our fault) Then she states if we turn up for breakfast there might not be a table available and would let us know when we could get one!? (Turned out not a...

Staff were excellent. The food was excellent. Everywhere was spotless. The 4 bedrooms are up 3 flights of stairs but the staff we extremely helpful. An enjoyable experience. The pub is quirky.

Had an incredible stay here. The house and surrounding area are stunningly beautiful, and the rooms are very cosy. Loved the amenities provided and the staff were wonderful, down to earth and happy to help with whatever you needed. We booked a room with a conservatory and had an amazing time watching the bats fly in and out of the tree next door. Breakfast was wonderful, as was the dinner service. I can see why you have so many regular guests!

Everything was great and even better than i expected

We stayed in this lovely guest house for two nights as we were attending a family funeral. We arrived at about 3pm on the first day and were greeted by a lovely lady who explained where everything was and showed us to our room. We had a king room which was absolutely huge, with a massive, very comfortable bed, a large and comfy sofa, a large bathroom with an excellent shower and a really big TV on a rotating wall bracket (to make it watchable from anywhere in the room). Clean & comfortable rooms, Food was tasty & staff are all really friendly

We received a warm welcome in the bar and were shown our room. The room was quite small but it was clean and well laid out and had everything we needed. Breakfast of cereal bar, instant porridge and a croissant is provided but we headed to the Wetherspoons or local cafe. The bar is very welcoming and has a nice atmosphere. We liked the central location for exploring Lancaster and not far from the University so we were able to easily visit our son. We will definitely be back.
