Leicester Marriott Hotel

"We had a mostly pleasant stay at this suburban Marriott location. Parking was plentiful and secure compared with hotels closer to Leicester’s city center. The room was a good size and quiet even on a busy weekend. We also made use of the well-equipped gym, which was the main amenity at the hotel. Our only complaint was the lack of flexibility around breakfast. We were told we could not cancel it because we had booked a prepaid rate. This felt unnecessarily rigid and put a slight damper on an otherwise positive stay. Since we had already paid, we did try the breakfast despite having very little time. It was well presented with a good variety of options for different preferences and dietary requirements. Overall, this was the best-equipped and most comfortable hotel we stayed at during our UK travels. Despite the minor frustration with breakfast, we would happily stay here again and would recommend it, particularly for travelers with a car."

"The hotel is in a great location with a retail park close by. A good cable for money hotel. The bedrooms are a good size with fabulous showers. The pool, steam room and sauna were really nice. The restaurant breakfast was the standard village offering. I would definitely stay at this hotel again."

"Large comfortable rooms. However, there was no air conditioning, so the room became too warm. Also no fridge in the room. Apart from these couple of things it was fine. The hotel was busy as it is a wedding venue and party venue."

"Cant fault it. Will def use again. We used the bar and restaurant. Parking at train station £6 (free if blue badge holder and very short flat walk) we didnt do breakfast but love that you can order up until 2am to have it in your room (tray charges etc all very clear) Location great, walkable to all amenities. Great value for a luxurfeeling stay"
