"Absolutely incredible experience. Fantastic and warm staff, delicious and plentiful food, super clean and calming atmosphere. I especially loved the sauna and cold plunge, unique features that the seven public onsen don’t have. Free beer and water in your room, too! It was a lovely less than 10-minute walk from the ryokan to the main street/area—this was a feature for me as I really appreciated the peace and quiet! Truly so memorable and I cannot wait to come back. Excellent value for the price."

Map and guidance on yukata given. Would definitely stay again."

"A good spot to stay in Kinosaki. The room itself was pretty outdated with an old tv - I really enjoy when hotel TV's have casting capabilities which this one did not. But the service and meals service was excellent, it's a self-serve buffet style dining which is great if you're a slightly fussy eater like myself. A little disappointed that the room view was blocked by netting for maintenance, which Inwas advised prior to arrival but after booking. I think some form of discount would have been nice for the inconvenience considering I had booked a river view room."

"The hotel experience was awesome and the staff could not have been nicer. Beautiful lobby with garden view and appreciated the welcome drink from the bar. The room was spacious with a lovely bathroom. Decoration was truly Japanese, with tatami mats and sliding doors. The room provided appropriate clothing for the onsens…yukata, obi, sandals etc. The onsen was modern, spotless and spacious, with both inside and outdoors areas, the later made of large rocks. The shuttle service to other onsen areas and to and from the train station was an added plus."
