Brilliant attention to detail !! The owners treated us like old friends, and as it was or 34 wedding anniversary they had laid on various presents and extras. Thoroughly recommend.

A very lovely, clean and welcoming B&B. Debbie and Rich were excellent hosts, and provided tips on the various activities to try and things to do.An ideal location and easily accessible to the seafront and amenities.

The staff were so friendly and went out there way to make you feel comfortable through things such as a free nightcap before bed, lovely breakfast etc The room was lovely with again free little bits like sweets, was clean and had a tv with a DVD player in ( you could also get DVDs to watch in there little guest room where you could also buy drinks and play games). It is also just a short walk to the beach, shops and other things such as golf and a leisure Center :) I definitely recommend to...

This is a great place to stay in Torquay. We were met with a lovely warm welcome from the owners who made us feel very welcome from the start. The room was immaculate and nicely decorated. Breakfast was delicious and the owners couldn't do enough for us and our 1 year old. We will definitely be returning.

I was frankly amazed at the quality of Briarfields immediately I walked through the front door. Everything looks freshly decorated, neutral colours, spotless carpeting... My room (No.8) on the top floor looked like it had been decorated yesterday, a small fridge with fresh milk and a bottle of water, comfortable bed, good quality clock/alarm. The bathroom was spotless.

We’ve stayed here before and find it perfect near to kingsbridge and beaches.

Well worth the visit, fab location and lovely country hotel. The restaurant is worth a visit as great local food cooked to perfection.

Really enjoyed our weekend away. The Charterhouse is within walking distance of the beach and the town. Perfect on a sunny day! Beautiful, well looked after grounds with outdoor seating and a swimming pool. Marion and Les are lovely and very helpful, they go out of their way to make you feel welcome. We've stayed at The Cornish Arms on many occasions and it never fails to disappoint. Fantastic welcoming staff, wonderful food (dinner and breakfast) and a well-appointed and luxurious room.

Thoroughly enjoyed our 3 nights here. Breakfasts lovely [ my favourite is the scrambled egg with smoked salmon ] Suppers also delicious. Good menu selection with Sea Bass & Rump Steak being my choices ( on 2 different occasions - - I should add.! ). Dog friendly - which is important if you want to have your pooches with you which we did. Allocated a downstairs room which is delightful with excellent shower & loo facilities. Would we want to stay here again. You bet !! PRB

We had a fantastic break, the hosts were perfect, the facilities great and we enjoyed the most amazing food. The breakfast buffet was extensive with a great range of local and home made produce and this was all followed by a mesmerising choice of hot food which included local produce. There was cake on hand all day along with fresh tea and coffee and the hosts couldn't do enough to ensure we had a great stay.

Lovely hotel step away from Plymouth Hoe. Arty decor super clean and comfy. Delicious breakfast. Family run, friendly and welcoming service. Would highly recommend.

Lovely small boutique hotel near the quayside with friendly staff and nicely decorated. Very busy with a coffee shop and restaurant on lower ground. Being one of the oldest buildings in the town it has low ceilings, steep stair cases, beams and wonky floors! The bedrooms are spotlessly clean and our bed and pillows were very comfortable.
