Roadworks will take place between Monday 3rd October to February 2023 between 8PM and 6AM on weeknights only (weather permitting). A47 Hardwick Roundabout to School Road – Late November to Mid-January 2023\. A47 School Lane to Walton Road – Early January to Mid- February 2023\. Whilst these closures are in place, eastbound traffic will be diverted onto the A10, A134 and the A1065 before re-joining the A47 at Swaffham. B1153 Gayton Road, Pentney - Road Resurfacing- Work is due to commence from Monday 11 September 2023 for 1 night to resurface the junction of B1156 Gayton Road, Pentney with the A47 at PE32 1HU. The work will be carried out between 7PM Monday night - 6AM Tuesday morning. In order to safely complete the improvements, Gayton Road will need to closed to through traffic at the junction with the A47 for the first 50 metres until work is complete. Please note the works will be carried out via Norfolk County Council. Lovely few days away. The accommodation was spacious and spotless but lacking in some basic kitchen utensils. However, what was there was good quality. The staff were very friendly and helpful, nothing too much trouble. The site was fairly small and quiet but ideal for our little ones; they loved the playground, ‘soft play’ and pool/splash park. Older children may struggle for entertainment. We had a lovely holiday. We enjoyed visiting kings Lynn and the Sea life centre in Hunstanton.A great shopping park just a few minutes up the road with everything you could think of.The accommodation was a little on the small size especially the ensuite bedrooms and the showers had been a bit of a squeeze. It could have also been a bit cleaner. The Internet and TV signal wasn’t the best and overall could do with a little care and attention as they are well used and just seem like they are getting a little tired. We had everything we needed though and was a comfortable stay. I would have liked to see a recycling bin.I did expect more areas to walk with the dog.The indoor pool was lovely, we had the added bonus of it not being very busy. we really enjoyed the steam room area and enjoyed a few games of pool in the bar area, that we had been very grateful for the facilities on a rainy day. The shop opening times are a little short and the bistro is not open on Tuesdays and Wednesday’s. Possibly from staffing issues. Perfect for all my family to celebrate my 60th Birthday. 6 adults and 2 children. Nice that the two double bedrooms had their own bathroom and a family bathroom. Plenty room , nice and comfy. The veranda was lovely and big with a gate. Which was great for our 2yr old grandson. We all loved the swimming pool , lovely and clean. Lovely park area and splash park. We had a delicious meal in the Bistro and all staff were lovely and friendly. Lovely walks in the woods, which had great maintained paths. We have been before and we all had a lovely weekend. It was a shame the restaurant couldn’t fit us in for a meal. The check in was carnage and it took just over half an hour to queue. People were queuing outside. A staggered check in may have worked better rather than opening at 4pm sharp. We got there at 3.45pm and eventually got in our lodge at 4.45pm. There was a problem with the barrier too.
