The location is wonderful. There is a crosswalk to go to the beach right outside the condo. Parking was no problem at all. There were a lot of supplies left for us to use in the condo and lots of equipment to use at the beach. The air conditioner did cool things off downstairs, but we needed the ceiling fan and portable fan on all the time for the upstairs bedroom to stay cool.

This was our second time staying at Maui Vista, but first time in this condo, We are a family of three and our child loved having their own space in the loft area, we loved not having them camped out on the couch. This condo is comfortable and clean. The AC cools the living room down pretty quickly, you do need to use the fans in the rooms though. The pictures don’t give the view justice, and you get a pretty great view of the sunset. The street noise isn’t as bad as you would expect even when the door is open and it definitely wasn’t an issue even at 5am. Being located near the stairs and the elevator was much nicer than I expected and we didn’t have any noise issues with people coming and going. That was a great surprise! The washer and dryer were a HUGE plus and worked well. We ate in the condo at least once a day and had everything we needed to do so. We didn’t use the dishwasher and just did our dishes as we went, which just makes sense for three people. Overall, we loved our stay and would chose this location again.

Great property, good location, good stay.

The property was clean and well located. Close to beaches, restaurants, etc. The complex is a bit old but well maintained. Good info and easy communication with the owners.

Economical Place to Stay

The unit was in a great location and the grounds were very well kept. The unit was clean, but in need of deep cleaning and some TLC. We would stay here again for the location and the ocean view.

Hot,hot, hot. Loft area was not sleep area. Shower upstairs was only large enough for kids, not adults. AAoceanfront unavailable for calls on weekends. Toilet paper, paper towels, Kleenex ordered from Amazon and was all paper thin. They want you to replace but don't know how current renter could possibly replace. We left 1st class products which are more than likely being taken by staff. WOULD NOT recommend this property.

Exactly what it says on the tin.

This apartment is no frills, great value for money, fantastic location. It has literally everything you could need and more. Lots of space for 2 of us, well-equipped. Only drawback was that the AC was super loud, we just had to turn it off while we slept but the fans were fine

Courteous Security

We arrived later than expected, located security and he was informative, and escorted us to our unit. Gave us friendly suggestions and of we needed assistance to reach out. Although it was a place to rest for a few nights, the use of 2 bathrooms is very comforting.

Could be better

Sofa needs replacing as there are no back cushions left. Air conditioner barely cools if you run it 24/7 on the lowest setting. Beds are super comfortable and the condo met our needs quite well.

The location of this property is perfect, however it really needs to be updated. I have stayed in se

The location of this property is perfect, however it really needs to be updated. I have stayed in several units in the Maui Vista over the years and this one was definitely the most dated. It wasn’t really clean either. We had to call to have a glass put in the bedroom window when we arrived. The owners were very generous in allowing us a late checkout which we really needed as a result of all the max8 planes that were grounded. We would not likely stay in this unit again unless it was updated and cleaned properly.

Family trip to Kihei

My husband and I stayed here while on a family vacation with our two kids (3 and 1). It’s is in a great location. Short walk to Charlie Young beach and longer walk or short drive to the Kam beaches. Easy waking distance to lots of restaurants and the playground at Kamala Park. It is a standard/dated condo but that is clearly indicated in the pictures and by the rental agency. It is also reflected in the much cheaper nightly price compared to other condos in the area. The rental company was very easy to communicate with. We enjoyed our stay.

Great spot

1411 has a great view of the ocean compared to other units we've stayed in at Maui Vista. Coffee in the morning on the Lanai was awesome. Super short walk to Charley Young beach. The unit was clean and everything worked fine, just a bit outdated...

Kihei Maui Review

Everything went well, except the check in process. I called to see if I could check in early, at 2:00 instead of 3:00. But the the person at AA said she call me back, never got a call back. Then the person at the office was rather rude when i was getting the parking pass, not a friendly person. Maybe I got her when she was ready to close the office.
