Magnificent expansive west facing view of the neighboring Hawaiian islands of Kahoolawe and Molokini Crater, a popular snorkling/diving spot, from the lanai of #603\. Equally magnificent Haleakala crater view on front walkway. The Kealia Resort is a legal vacation rental condominium and IS NOT on the Minatoya List to be converted to long term housing. Let the waves lull you to sleep every night. Feel the warm breezes and watch the swaying palms as you sip your favorite beverage or enjoy a bite to eat from your own private top floor lanai. In the winter watch the mother whales and calves frolicking and breaching. Let the sun's diamond reflections off the gentle Pacific waves mesmerize you as your body slides into total relaxation. Stroll along miles of sugar soft sand on Maui's longest walking beach. Mirrored walls envelop you with breath-taking ocean views. Kealia is the perfect quiet, private resort condominium for honeymooners, couples, seasoned travelers...anyone! Next to the Kealia Nature Preserve, so no buildings for three miles to the northwest. Totally remodeled, in August of 2017 with all new kitchen cabinets, backsplashes, Silestone quartz countertops throughout, new sinks, kitchen, faucet, refrigerator, showerhead, linens, towels, kitchen utensiles, etc. We also repainted the entire unit. It's been professionally decorated with bamboo flooring, all stainless steel kitchen appliances (including a new 2023 whisper quiet dishwasher and high-end furniture and furnishings throughout, stripped and resealed tumbled marble tile in kitchen and bath, tub, vanity, vessel sink, huge, full-sized separate washer/dryer in the unit so you don't spend your vacation drying 2 beach towels at a time and totally updated to reflect more of a serene, romantic modern tropical feel. Our photos of the unit are updated in August 2017 after a remodel and show exactly what you will see when you arrive, with no surprises. We have a free state-of-the-art secured N+ wireless router for simultaneous video streaming/gaming on multiple devices like smart phones, computers or iPads, etc. The unit is fully stocked with EVERYTHING most people would want or need from all beach gear to spices, cooking utensiles and ALL paper and cleaning supplies, including those for the washer, dishwasher and bath/shower. We haven't forgotten anything! Both the living room and bedroom TV are hooked up to Spectrum cable and the bedroom TV has a digital over the air antenna if the cable goes down. In 2022 we even got a new high quality Sterns and Foster mattress and adjustable base with wireless remote control head and foot raising/lowering capabilities. We live in Kihei in case you need anything else to make your stay with us perfect. We are available 24/7\. Your complete satisfaction is important to us. Our goal is to exceed your expectations. Paradise Found was the absolute perfect place for our quiet Christmas getaway. The condo is small but feels spacious with the way it is set up. The decor is clean but comfortable and homey. The bed is superbly comfortable. The view was spectacular. I mean you are truly so close to the ocean and sparkling clean beautiful beach you feel you could almost reach out and touch it. Sandy and Frank's condo was the perfect place to start our Honeymoon vacation in Hawaii! We didn't want to stay at a resort with so many other people especially around the holidays. This condo was the perfect spot for us! It's in a great location in terms of exploring the West coast and road to Hana and the beach was beautiful! You could go for a nice long walk during sunrise or sunset - it's not too busy especially after visiting the busy Waikiki beach! We enjoyed reading on the beach chairs provided by Frank and Sandy! We were lucky to see a whale swimming by quite close too! My husband and I enjoyed the views and meals we prepared to eat out on the private lanai! It was easy to cook or barbecue there! Other residents/guests in the condo building were also very friendly! We appreciated the thoughtful welcome package from Frank and Sandy with yummy local treats! My mother recommended this specific location in Kihei. She loves the old-school vibe of this part of the island. My husband and I would prefer a more current vibe. The unit is very nice inside. Our hosts thought of everything that one may need. Very comfortable furniture, including the king-size bed. The view and sound of ocean out our windows is breathtaking. We are right on the beach. We face west, so the sunset is visible nightly. It’s a 30 minute beach walk/10 minute drive to businesses. We thought we wouldn’t need a car, even though there is a parking place on site. Wish we had rented one. Luckily, we had many friends also visiting who could ferry us around in their cars when we needed it. Also, we used Uber quire a bit. This was a learning experience. My husband and I stayed here for 9 nights and cannot imagine a more perfect place to stay on the island for our first trip to Maui! We were in awe with how close the condo is to the beach and the view from the lanai is absolutely breathtaking! A highlight of our stay was falling asleep listening to the sounds of the ocean waves every night! The condo looks exactly as shown, as described. The condo was very clean and very well organized; it is so cozy and very relaxing! The condo is very close to the airport and so easy/convenient to get to Wailea-Makena, Paia, the road to Hana and road to Haleakala. Frank and Sandy are amazing hosts and excellent communicators who have gone above and beyond to make their condo feel like a home to their guests and are extremely welcoming! From the personalized welcome message on the dry board, the Safeway grocery store member card to use, the welcome basket full of local goodies including a bottle of champagne and bag of ice in freezer, to the handwritten welcoming notes, they truly care for their guests and want to make your stay perfect! They have everything and more you will need for your stay to cook if you choose (we loved using the Vitamix every AM for smoothies), doing laundry, and hanging at the beach (we used the boogie boards).
