Feel the white sands of Sugar Beach between your toes! Sliding glass doors open from both the living room and bedroom, with the lanai offering comfortable seating to dine and enjoy amazing ocean sunsets, Haleakala, and overlook lush green tropical gardens below. The quiet central A/C and cherry wood flooring throughout will keep you cool and comfortable along with the tropical ocean breeze. Your kitchen has cherry wood cabinets with granite counter tops, all new stainless appliances equipped with a glass top stove, large oven, microwave, dishwasher, garbage disposal and full refrigerator with ice maker, coffee maker, blender, toaster and rice cooker. All dishes, pans, and gadgets that you'll need to cook luscious meals if you choose to eat in. Gas barbecues are available near the pool and spa in the central garden area for your convenience. Sleep comfortably on a King sized Serra Sleeper w/Memory Foam mattress and awake to full ocean views outside your window. Two closets and a large dresser, 50" Smart TV, along with bedside tables and lamps to provide plenty of light for reading. The en suite bathroom has a full walk-in marble-tiled massage shower and plenty of luxurious towels for bath, pool, and beach. The living room has a Queen size sofa bed with 6in mattress, & comfortable chairs with ample light for evening reading. A mirrored wall brings the ocean view into all corners of the room. The large 60" Smart cable/internet TV, free WiFi access, DVD player, and Radio/CD player to enjoy music will keep you entertained. Please note: When instant booking, book next to an existing reservation or do not leave a gap less than 6 nights between reservations. What to do first? The lanai deck box is stocked with boogie boards, Tommy Bahama beach chairs, beach umbrella and pool toys. Slip into your suit, walk along the silky Sugar Sand beach, or head to the large tiled whale mosaic pool, hot tub, or sauna to relax. The fenced pool area also includes a children's pool with a turtle and fish mosaic. Volleyball, horseshoes, a putting green, and shuffleboard courts are available for fun activities. There are also public tennis courts located just south of the resort. You'll find a variety of novels in the credenza, as well as books on Hawaiian history, birds and flowers that may be of interest. More books to borrow are located in the lobby library.. The friendly front desk and concierge is open between 10:00am and 4:00pm Mon-Sat for any questions you may have. There is no check-in fee. Kauhale Makai is just 20 minutes from the airport and is centrally located near beaches, shops and restaurants. You are located close to many fine local restaurants. Safeway and local grocery stores are located within 5 minutes of the condo and you will pass Costco as you leave the airport. The Maui Bus offers public transportation for only $2.00 with varying routes which you can google for more information. However, you will probably want to rent a car in order to see and do all the fun things the island has to offer. You have your own reserved parking spot. It is not the nicest beach you will find in Maui. But it is still decent/convenient AND the amount of turtles you see is so cool. All day I got to watch turtles swim down the shore line or watch whales in the distance. The condo location is central and I loved that part also. Eve & Scott-Your condo has everything that is needed for a stay in Maui. It was just as described online. Beach supplies were used daily. Only thing I would add is more forks and salt & pepper LoL! Oh, and the TV was really confusing. Otherwise, it is the perfect location and view from the lanai is beautiful. The check in process was seamless. We enjoyed our 3 week stay in your beautiful condo. We saw many whales from the lanai and from the beach in front of the condo complex. We took many walks along Sugar Beach at sunset and saw turtles beaching themselves north of the Whale Foundation. We saw beautiful sunrises and sunsets from the lanai and the beach. The complex is very convenient to all destinations on Maui. In the evenings, we enjoyed meeting people from many destinations at the complex hot tub. We appreciated all the beach equipment provided by the owner. The beach chairs, umbrella and boogie board were great to have for our outings to Ulua beach. The views were even more spectacular than the pictures depicted. Everything we needed was included in the condo. We spent a lot of time at the beach so the umbrella and chairs were a nice bonus. We loved that restaurants and shopping were close by. It was also not much of a drive to see everything else on the island. The bed in the main bedroom was extra comfy. Our only suggestion is to make sure the cleaning service is throughly cleaning the floors. They didn’t look swept or mopped. We swept when we got there. Beautiful and spacious 1 bedroom condo equipped with everything needed to make it home for the week. We were able to cook using the kitchen gadgets and used the provided beach chairs & boogie boards for our outings. Not to mention the AMAZING ocean front views, pool/hot tub, tennis courts and beach walk out. It is a bit north of the main beaches, but located on a lare grassy area with large beach. This area has hotels on the beach side rather than across the road. Condo is perfect for 2 and comes with chairs and boogie boards. The Lanai view is better than their pics. Restaurants and grocery stores are a few minutes away. The unit itself has everything needed for a very comfortable and enjoyable trip - from beach chairs, boogie boards, cooler and more. We love the comfortable chairs on the lanai to watch for whales. We have been coming to this unit (303) for over twelve years and have always enjoyed our stay. Its a centrally located property on the beach a short drive from kihei shopping. The condo comes with an ocean view lanai and cool A/C. The condo grounds feature BBQ's, pool and hot tub. We especially love the comfy bed in this unit. The grounds are well kept and have an airy feel to them. Right now the condo buildings exteriors are undergoing renovation. This will improve the experience for those coming this winter season. We got to see turtles coming up from the ocean every night right outside the condo. Eve and Scott were really great to work with throughout our booking process and during our stay. Additionally the condo was a great size for two people and met all our needs. The only compliant I have is that the condo wasn’t really clean when we got there(floors looked like they hadn’t been swept and there was pink mold in the shower). I’m not sure if this is because the unit wasn’t occupied for a while or not. The master bed may need upgrading too as it seemed to cave in the middle.
