"I booked my stay when i arrived in Lusaka late at night. When i got to Acamms the receptionist was refused for me to stay there although i had a receipt from Expedia from my email. Long story short i had to find an alternative hotel in the middle of the night in Lusaka. I contacted Expedia on the 13th about getting a refund and up to now they are still getting in touch with Acamms. So bad service from both Acamms and Expedia. Book at your own risk."

The room was not only clean but had "character". The bathroom was spacious and had both shower and bathtub. And, what really was extraordinary is the restaurant and the lounge / outdoor pool space, both wether you sit there and work or just chill. Last but not least, the staff is as friendly and helpful as it gets. This is the pl where to stay in Lusaka.

We stayed here for 4 nights, and this is our second stay at the hotel and this is the only hotel in Lusaka we would stay in. We stayed in the double room with separate kitchen and lounge and is well worth the additional cost.
The room is spacious very clean and has everything you need for a stay. The kitchen has the basics to allow you to prepare food, but you do have to ask if you want knives as they are not left in the draws. The kitchen comes with a microwave / oven, fridge freezer, washing...

We've stayed before so knew what to expect.
Overall, it's still great though a few small improvements would greatly enhance the client experience :
1 - UPS backup on at least the Internet service. There's frequent load shedding and while main power is restored by Generator within 60 seconds Internet can take up to 30 mins. Having UPS on this at least would mostly negate this. It's a first world problem I appreciate, but it's a premium property so not a unreasonable ask.

Easy check in and out. Unfortunately, we were allocated a room right next to the conference centre where a conference was going on. We could hear everything the lecturer said and it was like being in the seminar itself. The executive suite was excellent, though. We contacted the lady on the front desk who quickly got us a room in a quieter part of the lodge. She was extremely helpful. The porter carried our luggage when checking in and out. He was rather helpful.

This was quite a nice surprise in a busy African city. The staff made us feel very welcome and we're happy to accommodate any requests we had. The property is tucked away in a residential part of the city away from the usual hustle and bustle but within walking distance of some major shops.
Would highly recommend this place and will definitely be staying there again when in Lusaka
Also George the dog is a little charmer with lots of love to give. Give him a cuddle and you'll have another...
