Internet was intermittent a would drop frequently. Staff is friendly and helpful. Rooms are being updated. Some remodel decisions seem in conflict, like the bathroom and shower enclosure was redone but the chipped old bathtub was kept. The parking is onsite and convenient but expensive. The location is excellent. Good food options everywhere. Some old buildings to wander past. However, much is under construction or renovation like Piccadilly gardens, the city building, etc.

Lovely hotel, breakfast was brilliant and it was a great hotel to stay in right next to town and round the corner from the Arndale

The staff and service at the guesthouse was very accommodating. My room was a nice size. It was clean, but I cleaned it more to my liking. One thing that was bothersome was, the other guests weren't as courteous and therefore nights early mornings weren't so peaceful.

Good place for staying

Great stay overall. Shower stall was a bit small (more an issue when starting shower and getting water to desired temperature)
