Lovely hotel made even better with the beautiful staff.
Agnes (the housekeeping manager) went out of her way to resolve some issues we had with pre-booked tour companies. She made us feel welcomed from the moment we arrived until we left. I would definitely recommend this hotel, because holidays are all about people and nice people make nice memories, which make you want to go again.

It was a quick trip, just a layover in Iceland. I needed a convenient place to sleep. Arriving after midnight, lugging two large suitcases in the snow, I found the service to be above and beyond. Desperately wanting ice, the receptionist provided a large glass for the room, and before I'd checked in, my luggage had been whisked up several flights of stairs to my room. A clean and efficient room with a lovely view of the sea. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

The kitchen was fully equipped for cooking a large meal for four. There is a supermarket within a 20 minute drive and a few restaurants. The lodge itself was lovely and warm and ideal for a quiet evening trying to see the northern lights. It was perfect for our last two nights in Iceland as it's 30 mins from the Blue Lagoon and 13 minutes to the airport. Will definitely look to stay here on our next trip to Iceland.

The Hotel staff are very welcoming and gave all additional information and advice about trips when asked for.Breakfast was continental and good quality but no hot food.We had a rental car so cannot comment about transport facilities. Overall a very good stay. The gym is an added bonus.
