But as many mentioned, convenient for night market as just across the main road. Food is convenient nearby with variety. May take a fair bit of distant if come by MRT on foot or cruise. Ordinary hotel When you know about travelling abroad in Asia, you need to expect this in smaller town. The hotel was hard to find, the room are small though they have everything. As there were some repair, we were put in 2 separate rooms, and it is OK. Breakfast was just OK, though a microwaves oven would be welcome for some food that turned cold. This is a place where you sleep only. Firstly, staff was very nice and location was excellent. The negatives are that the hotel and the rooms are very dated, with clear wear around the room. The room and hotel were clean but certainly didnt feel fresh. My biggest issue is with the visitors of the hotel. My family of four, which included 2 small children were awakened at 330a to the sounds of two individuals having very loud intercourse next door. The walls are paper thin and every noise, movement, etc. was heard. I was kept awake and felt very disgusted. This hotel apparently books hourly or partial day, which explains our late night neighbors' shortened stay. I was very upset upon relaizing we were put in the first room closest to the stairs and on the first room floor. Families should be kept separate from potential hourly visitors as it is truly a too easy way to leave a bad taste. ##### Patricia ### 8/10 Good #### YUJI 12 Mar 2025 Liked: Staff & service このホテルは大規模なNight Marketの近くにあります。 もし深夜にこのホテルに到着しても、台湾のローカル料理を食べることができます。 昼間は台湾人のローカルマーケットが南北に広くあり、オリエンタル世界の散策の拠点にはベストだと思いました。 ただ、滞在したホテルの部屋の空調は古く排風口のネジが外れていたり、シャワールームのタイルが剥がれかかっていたりと、建物の古さがあります。 加えて、朝食は期待しない方が良いと感じました。品数は少ないですし、特にOccident向け（西洋系）の朝食にはパンだけしかありません。 台湾の基隆観光を重視する拠点として、とても便利なホテルだと感じました。 ##### YUJI Stayed 2 nights in Feb 2025 ### 6/10 Okay #### m.f.j. 22 Dec 2024 Disliked: Cleanliness, staff & service, property conditions & facilities #### Koud, oud hotel maar wel op prima locatie Oud, gedateerd hotel. Het enige positieve eraan is de ligging om de hoek van de nightmarket en op loopafstand van het station en de cruiseport. Het ontbijt is aziatisch en elke dag hetzelfde. Voor mensen met westerse gewoontes is er alleen toast met aardbeienjam. We moesten vragen of de kamer kon worden schoongemaakt anders hadden we niet eens schone handdoeken gekregen. De kamer was steenkoud. Geen mogelijkheid om de temperatuur te regelen of de airco uit te zetten. Personeel is vriendelijk ##### m.f.j.
