It took a long time for hot water to come out of the taps, and so if you want a hot shower you will waste a lot of water. It's off the beaten track a little in Hattisar, but if you don't need to be in Thamel it's a great hotel. Used to be a royal residence, and has lovely views of the mountains. Staff are very helpful and efficient, and the breakfast is excellent.
