My stay here felt like a movie. After a long walks around Thamel I’d return to this safe place to rinse off and sleep like a rock. The baggage storage has been key for me as I’m out trekking for the next week. Trustworthy, kind folks. The breakfast also stands out - clean, calm — can’t wait to try to Swiss rosti upon my return. Excellent stay, definitely returning on future trips to Nepal.

This is a truly authentic Nepalese hotel with original antique pieces. The hotel is super clean and the staff is very helpful. The location could not be better, situated on a quiet road but only a minute walk from the busy streets of Thamel. You can have your breakfast for lunch which I particularly appreciated as I do not like eating in the mornings. Thank you.

I stayed here for over 8 nights and had a great time! The owner himself texted many times with recommendations in the neighborhood and checking how we were doing. The room was nice, spacious and clean. Breakfast is a la carte, tasty, and they were flexible for adjusting a few things.

Amazing hotel nestled in the heart of Thamel (the tourist district). Very walkable to great restaurants and the owner Rahul helped give me multiple suggestions for food and tour guides. Staff was extremely nice and helpful as well!

My daughter and I have just had a great few days at the Swarga Heritage hotel. The location is great (close enough for easy access to central Thamel but a bit quieter). The hotel itself is very clean and has a lovely courtyard where we enjoyed a good breakfast each morning. We also liked the fact the hotel is full of Nepali art & furniture and the bedding, toiletries, etc were made Nepal too. We also got some helpful messages from Rahul (the owner) with ideas of things to do and places to eat locally in Kathmandu. Finally, a special mention for the staff (front desk, restaurant and cleaning) all of whom were especially welcoming and helpful. Thank you!
