Its a gorgeous older home with a lot of charm, and incredibly spacious. The remodeling they've done looks great and thoughtful of the period. While it wasn't the most walkable neighborhood, it was in a great part of the city that was within a 5-10 drive to all of KCs best museums, shopping, restaurants and bars. This is an older home, beautifully renovated in all the right areas. It's wonderful to still see all of the intricate woodwork and molding that they have left in the home. Every aspect of this place is great. The kitchen is well appointed, the bathrooms are spotlessly clean, the living areas are comfortable and warm. Because it is an older home, they have thoughtfully placed floor unit air conditioners in every room, so you can dial in the comfort you want. Amber, the host, was extremely communicative, and helped us with a couple of special needs that we had. She was gracious and forthcoming, polite and understanding. Large old house with plenty of charm and quirks that come along with it. Modern updates. It was extremely hot in Kansas City over the 4th of July weekend.
