Sleeping on the tatamis was the best nights sleep we’ve had so far in Japan! My family of 5 stayed here for three nights half-board following our stay in Tokyo. This place is out of the world. I cannot describe how attentive the staff are at this Ryokan hotel. My mother is approaching her 80s and I mentioned to them in email ahead of time that my mother prefers softer food and they delivered. I was worried that the three breakfast and three dinner would be repetitive, but much to my surprise, the Kaiseki meals were so meticulously planned and with fresh ingredients. We cannot have a better time in Kanazawa. It's also so close to the train station, making visiting the rest of the city a breeze.
