"This is a beautiful, comfortable home that blends seamlessly into the rainforest. The enormous windows provide an astonishing view of hapu'u ferns, anthuriums, 'ohi'a lehua, beach naupaka, and other tropical plants. We saw beautiful birds, including some colorful Kalij pheasants. The home is decorated with lovely artwork that celebrates the rainforest and volcano (and Pele!). The beds are comfortable. The host is very friendly and welcoming. It only takes a couple of minutes to drive to Volcanoes National Park. We hope to return one day! Bring a light rain jacket and warmer clothes for the park."

"We had an enjoyable stay, we were received by Kelly with fresh delicious muffins, the house was very clean and comfortable and the breakfast was excellent, each day was a different menu with fresh baked muffins, fresh fruit, juice, coffee or late and attention to detail. Kelly was very hospitable and she made us feel like home. I recommend a stay here "

"Honestly, their hospitality was amazing. We feel that they were very attentive while still giving us privacy and space to do what we wanted to do. The space that they created is truly magical and kinda wished we would have done this trip without kids. They made sure to contact us through chat....which sadly I didnt actually checked until the last day, when I was checking what time checkout was at. They informed us early when the volcano erupted...luckily we actually visited the NP that day but arrived when it was already over and asked one of the traffic guides why it was so busy. Anyways, our stay was magical and they were amazing!"

"The grounds are beautiful with lush tropical plants. It's so relaxing just to sit outside and drink your coffee in the morning with all the birds singing. The manager was very responsive when our fan stopped working and replaced it immediately."
