"Staff friendly, room clean and everything needed was there, bed and pillow comfortable which is one of the most important things to me when sleeping away. A/C worked great. Breakfast well stocked with excellent variety also the coffee was good."

"Friendly staff who helped with a late check-in and recommended options for late night food to order in as the hotel restaurant closes at 9pm. Property is charming, a little old school but very clean, however, no elevator which may be an issue for some guests. Water pressure is amazing. Restaurant during the day was delicious and great staff. Would recommend."

"Wow, this place is fantastic. My family had a wonderful time at the cottage, we did not want to leave! It was great for all ages and had plenty to do. It was super clean which was very important to me, and the host was great. I wouldn't hesitate to go back again and again!"

"We were pleasantly surprised by this facility, as we were aware that it is quite old. The location was perfect…..quiet, wooded, and with a lovely expansive waterfront that was very private. Our balcony looked through trees onto a wonderful panoramic lake view. Our unit was most pleasant….clean, bright and very functional. The beds were comfortable and the bedding was top notch….attractive and felt great! The lighting in the bathroom was much appreciated as it was very bright. Our only disappointment was the shower as there was not a hand held option for showering. We would definitely return and have already recommended this property to others. Secluded family cottage on Sparrow Lake, Muskoka

"Issac & Jacob were great to communicate with. The BBQ broke the week before arriving and he made sure to get a new one in there before we arrived which was MUCH appreciated. Gotta have a BBQ for a cottage weekend!Lake access. There is a little bit of seaweed in the lake but it's deep so just have a brave friend pick the tall ones and it's good swimming. Water was warm in August. We loved watching the loons on the lake. They were there all weekend.I saw in previous reviews for this place that people were complaining about the mattresses but I think they must have got new ones because everyone was quite content with them in our group. It's an old rustic cottage but it looks exactly like it does in the pictures so you know what you're getting. Thanks for having us!"
Magnificent Lakefront Modern Cottage

"A beautiful lake view right on the water as advertised in a cute town. Very conveniently located close to shops and amenities as well as a park and small beach. We enjoyed the waterfront property but the deck is not ideal for small children (our small children’s feet fell through large cracks). People should also be aware that there is a railway running directly behind the property with train horns going off regularly throughout the day and night."
