"It was a good cottage need some work the mattresses in the bedroom are way too soft Barbecue missing covers for the flame cannot use it Master bedroom vanity shifts around couldn't use it unsafe Cottages in a great location has great views host was great few minor issues and that could be a really good cottage"

"Absolutely. I’d make that the standout part of the review because it really shows the level of service: We had such a wonderful stay at Stay Inn Muskoka this past weekend! From the moment we arrived, the service was amazing. A special thank you to Jonathan at reception, who was so welcoming, helpful and accommodating throughout our stay. Ingrid, the cleaner, also deserves a huge shoutout. Everything was extremely clean and well maintained. The service honestly went above and beyond. We simply sent a text asking if the sauna could be started for us and they took care of it. JUST WOW. That is NEXT LEVEL service! I’ve honestly received less personalized service at Marriott and other luxury properties. We also really appreciated how much was available at reception for guests to use, including robes, firewood and fire starters. The staff were incredibly trusting and made us feel very welcomed and at home. The property itself was extremely quiet and peaceful, and the backyard space and amenities were such a great bonus. There are two hot tubs, a sauna, a fire pit and an incredibly comfortable hammock. Everything was set up perfectly for relaxing and enjoying the Muskoka atmosphere. The bed was also incredibly comfortable. And honestly, if you happen to come across a bad review about this place, blink twice 😂 I genuinely feel like it must be a one off because our experience was completely different. Everything was clean, peaceful and well taken care of. Highly recommend!"
Beautiful Waterfront Cottage with Hot Tub in South Muskoka

"We stayed with a large group for Labour Day weekend, we had a very fun time! Communication with the host before the trip was not great, and extra fees were added last minute, but I understand it was Labour Day weekend and that people get too busy to check apps. There was a pool that we didn’t see in the listing so that was a nice surprise! There are cameras pointed at the pool and at the hot tub, which should’ve been disclosed in the listing, and on the in person tour, based on Vrbo’s camera policies. Other than that we had a great time, the cleaning lady, Denica was very sweet and helpful when giving us the tour, she even took a group photo of us at the end of our trip! This cottage has a lot of amenities that are attractive for large groups- karaoke machine, soccer and axe throwing games in the yard, trampoline, pool and hot tub and a sauna (the sauna wasn’t ready yet for our trip but it’s there), smart tvs, equipped kitchen, you name it! I had brought tons of things with me (TP, hand soap, baby wipes, a cheese grater, etc) because I was worried they wouldn’t have stocked the place very much but they had everything we needed and more! You can tell the housekeeper really takes care of everything. Overall great trip and we would come back!"

"The vacation rental was ideal for our large extended family with kids and grandkids. Very spacious, loved the large dining table and chairs for all 17 of us. Well stocked kitchen. Lots of beds and bathrooms for all. The beds mattresses are firmer we are used to so it felt hard at first, but it gave good support and took some getting used to The River and dock were amazing and we thoroughly enjoyed the kayaks and canoes. Did some fishing off the dock and caught some small fish, released them back into the river. The property is beautiful and very peaceful. We enjoyed the firepit as the weather was perfect our week there. Lots of games and things for the kids to do are available. Would rent again"

"We atayed in one of the cabins in thr back, 2 double beds full bathroom, good sized fridge, microwave eletric kettle. Room was clean, air conditioner worked well. Was able to check in early too. Location was close to hwy 11. Convenient."

"We had a nice 2 night visit…. Super pet friendly(for “good” dogs)… Very modest, cozy and comfortable! Hosts (neighbors, but private) were terrific although we didn’t chat much I know they were totally there if needed…! Everything you need is there from gas range, Wi-Fi, AC, Sauna to quality heat if you go up in the winter… space is tight, but comfortable! I’d definitely go back. Lake is beautiful and serene… (Bring water shoes if you wanna swim…) its slippery going in but there’s a dock and a raft you can use anytime and… at least at this time of year, the water was amazing…"

"Such a cute place to stay at! The cabin was very clean, and the screened in area was roomy and we spent a lot of time here. The manual was super helpful. The out house wasn't gross, clean, and no unpleasant smells, even if used. The only thing to note is that the cabin is right on lake muskoka, Which can be a busy lake. You will hear some party's, a lot of boats going by, and an occasional steam boat horn."
