Poipu Bay Getaway - Poipu House - Saltwater pool, hot tub, AC!, Walk to Beach and Hyatt!

"We have done many VRBO’s and sadly, nothing will ever be able to compare to this house, location, and experience. It was perfect for our two families of 4 parents and 8 “kids” in their 20s. The house is perfectly laid out, so everyone has space, but our favorite place to hang was the expansive kitchen/dining/living area, and the amazing pool. So many morning coffees, dinners, convos, laughs, and games shared there. The kitchen is so well stocked, including an abundance of spices, seasonings, and cooking utensils. The location is so perfect, with easy access to beaches, walks, coffees, dinners, and shopping, with an easy 20 ish minute drive to Costco, Safeway, and the airport. Plenty of water/beach gear also provided. Definitely having a car rented was a necessity so we could also take a day trip to North shore. Rocco the caretaker was the icing on a perfect trip as he was amazingly welcoming, friendly, available, thorough, and responsive. He even texted us that someone had left water shoes! We’re so sad our trip is over, but so grateful for the memories this beautiful house provided! Will absolutely be back!!"

"If you want your stay in Kauai to feel like you're part of the community, this is the home for you. You will wake every morning to the sounds of roosters. We walked to the beach every day for the sunrise and sunset and to hang out with the honu. We had beautiful areas to go for our run along the ocean before stopping in to Kalapaki Joes for a burger and beer. We walked over to the Poipu Shopping Village for souvenirs and Lappert's ice cream. I also recommend Little Fish Coffee for a Monkey Nuts smoothie! From this beautiful home we were able to drive to the North shore and further up South shore. We had neighbors bringing us star fruit and being kind enough to donate our food and water in preparation for the hurricane Lowell. Only regret was that we had to leave a day early because of the hurricane and didn't get to run our marathon. This will definitely be the home I come back to when I do. Aloha and Mahalo Nui"

"Super cute home and beautiful property. Owner was easy to contact and quick to respond. We would definitely recommend and stay again. We loved the back porch, having a private pool and the view. Notes to future renters…The front door lock is tricky. Lock from inside and turn handle to see if the latch doesn’t retract. Reviews that say the beach is 15 minute WALK, are not accurate. The quickest beach is about 25 minutes at brisk pace. There are several beach options in about a 10 minute drive. (Owners listing is accurate for proximity) Location is great, shopping and coffee/restaurants about 20 minute walk away. Lots of shops and food in 10 minute drive radius."
