"We’re used to Grand Velas and their top sites. But this Grand Hyatt is right there as a top resort. The pools are the best we’ve seen. No issues. Seeing the parrots each day was a plus. And the on site restaurants were very good too. Our only advice. If you get an Uber to the resort, keep your driver’s cell number and schedule your rides and pay them cash. Otherwise getting rides to and from the resort can be very difficult. We were almost stranded in Lihue one time."

"The room was very clean and a great location! We even got an ocean view! The only downside is the pool being across the street, but it’s an amazing pool and you can order food and drinks there! The location of the property is amazing! Lots of food options across the street!"

"We enjoyed our stay in Kauai very much. The condo was very clean and comfortable and we appreciated the views of the ocean, golf course and sunsets! Got to see a beautiful rainbow off the balcony and finished the 1,000 piece puzzle in 4 days! Very centrally located in Poipu with lots of dining and shopping nearby. The hosts were very responsive and friendly. Would definitely recommend staying in their unit!"

Pili Mai Family Condo 5K, 3 Bedroom, 3 Bath, Mountain View, Large Lanai

"This is our third time staying at Pili Mai and overall we had a lovely stay in 5K. The living room, dining area (large table) and kitchen are the stars of the home. These areas are comfortable, spacious and well-stocked. Before arriving, we were excited to use the large lanai, but unfortunately, upon our arrival, we discovered that this would not be possible; the floor and furniture are not clean (bird droppings) and had obviously not been cleaned in a long time. This unit is very close to the wonderful pool, hot tub and gym. Only two out of the three showers can be used at the same time, or else the water will automatically turn off! As well, the AC can not go below 74 degrees! Speaking of AC, the bedroom by the front of the unit has a portable AC unit. This AC unit was loud and was attached to the window which caused a safety/security issue. The cleanliness of the condo could be much improved: many of the dishes needed to be rewashed before we could use them, the floors were not clean (obvious with white socks), two of the toilets were not clean, the wall around the primary bathroom toilet was not clean and worst of all, there were blood stains on two of the duvets (primary and middle bedrooms); these duvets are clearly not washed between visits. I’m not sure if we would stay here again. This condo has a lot of potential, but needs some improvements asap."

"Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We enjoyed our time staying here. Well equipped throughout especially the kitchen. Clean and organized. Plenty of room for our family of 10. Would stay here again anytime. Loved the view from the back with the golf course and the ocean in the distance. Not close to anyone on the back side which made it very private. The neighborhood is very nice and quiet. Loved being in a neighborhood away from the crowds but within 5-15 minutes of everything we wanted to see on a daily basis - beaches, shopping, restaurants. We had a few needs early on with not enough towels, but they addressed it immediately. We also had an issue with the oven later on but they addressed that as well. A very nice house and a wonderful location."
