Koloa Landing Resort at Poipu, Autograph Collection
8/10 Good
"Great condos, pool is huge and fun for the kids. The resort does not have a direct beach access (need to walk to the Sheraton- 5mins). The on-site restaurant is ok for breakfast and lunch. Overall nice place."
"This is a good spot for people with children as its an apartment feel and you have everything you need to cook, wash dishes or do laundry. The pool areas are dated but clean as well as the furnishings in the home. If your just a couple there would be more pampering in a hotel setting with out the hidden fees. Cleaning fees and daily amenity fres etc. this shouldve been included in original hotel cost. It was a separate charge for each day you stood there. And we were there several days and they never bothered to at least pick up the trash. Also there is noone 24hours at desk."
Poipu Bay Getaway - Poipu House - Saltwater pool, hot tub, AC!, Walk to Beach and Hyatt!
10/10 Excellent
"The house was absolutely perfect for our family trip! We had 11 people, ranging from 3-76. We swam and walked to the beach, golfed, snorkeled, and just had the best time. Rocco was so accommodating and easy to get in touch with. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a beautiful home in Kauai!"
"We had the absolute best stay at the Koa Kea. We loved how the resort is on the smaller side, and you can easily walk out of your room and to the pool, beach, or to some nearby businesses (little fish, puka dog, surf shop..). The staff was super friendly and accommodating as well. I also loved being greeted with real leis, chocolate for our honeymoon, and wine in the room when we arrived! The pool bar had some yummy food, and good drinks. The sunrise yoga was fantastic as well. We stayed here for our honeymoon and actually preferred it to the first half of our trip, when we stayed at Hotel 1 Hanalei. Again, we loved how small and intimate Koa Kea felt, and it had a calm, relaxing vibe with mostly adults staying at the property. We already can't wait to come back again for an anniversary in the future."
"Amazing hotel almost like in White Lotus. We greatly enjoyed the lagoon. Hawaiian performances in the lobby throughout the day.
Poipu beach has many turtles at sun set."

Sunset Suite - Luxury Studio in tropical gardens with koi ponds, waterfalls
8/10 Good
"Nice location for travelers who want to explore the south side of Kauai. This location is minutes from most major attractions. The suite was well appointed and despite being attached to the host’s home, it does provide a fair amount of privacy. The pros.1. The room is very spacious with a very comfortable king bed2. Great bathroom…huge shower with water pressure that will knock you off your feet.3. Kevin is a very friendly and attentive host.4. Nice selection of kitchen accessories. You can’t cook a gourmet meal here but there is everything you need to cook up a quick breakfast before starting your day.The cons.1. Parking is a hassle. There is no onsite parking. You have to park on the road about 100 yards down from this property’s driveway. You can load/ unload your luggage in the driveway, but that’s it. This was a major drawback.2. The listing showed a pool, I never saw a pool. Granted, I didn’t ask about it either. Maybe there is access to a pool but it is not on site.3. If you’re not willing to drive for everything this is not the most convenient location. Travelers that want a short walk to Shipwreck or Poi’pu Beach should look elsewhere.4. The washer and dryer are shared with the host and other guests. We found on several occasions that the washer was or dryer occupied when we wanted to clean our clothes."
