"Staff was very helpful. Room was pretty basic. Some minor issues, like bathroom fan not working. Stayed 2 nights, didn't get maid service. Avoid the restaurant, it's terrible and the staff is rude, but there are many other options within 1 or 2 blocks."

"Room was 10/10 wonderful space, clean and beautiful. Would totally stay there again. Beautiful property. Not a huge fan of no front office/ self check in, it didn’t work for us so we had to wait, coffee shop wasn’t open yet which was rough because you’re not “in town” and not any trails around the property we found. Would love if they were pet friendly but would try them out again over the summer when we are back for games or quick weekend since we don’t live far."

"It is not fancy and the television wasn't working the first night, the restaurant wasn't open for dinner but the views were stunning. We had a really yummy traditional breakfast for only $10 a plate which was our cheapest meal of the trip. We aren't picky We were just happy to be in Alaska "

Plus, the hosts were incredibly thoughtful and communication was seamless. We were lucky enough to see the Northern Lights during our trip, and watching them from the hot tub is a core memory. "

"Cabin - Extremely small. No wifi, no tv, no dresser or closet. When I closed the door, the door 's window curtain fell because the nail holding one end came out. I do not recommend this accommodation."

"Our stay was perfect! The setting was lovely against the mountains. There was a walking path decorated with delightful sculptures around the property. Our room was large and tastefully decorated. The owners were very personable. Breakfast was on time and tasty. I would definitely recommend this place. "

"Such an amazing place. The staff, food, and proximity to wildlife/wilderness are all outstanding. Anyone looking to head off into the last great frontier should have a stay at the Summit Lake Lodge for a night or two. Recommend renting the lakefront cabins, as waking up to a cup of coffee in bed with incredible views helps start any day with a smile.
