"Nice old plantation style house with a beautiful yard and view of Hilo. Staff was nice and helpful, even tho I arrived a day and a half late. Very peaceful place to stay, with birds chirping in the morning and coqui frogs croaking at night."

"This house is BEYOND amazing. I've never stayed in a rental home that was so meticulously maintained - everything was gorgeous and high-end. We were unsure about renting a place in July with no air conditioning, but it actually just added to the experience to have the warmth and hear the birds and critters from the outside. Speaking of critters, we were introduced to the "coqui" frogs on the island - loud little guys, but super cute. Bring your earplugs at nighttime if repetitive sounds keep you awake. The backyard lights up in the evening (this house is a smart home with awesome features like cove lighting and backyard illumination) and truly makes you feel like you're in your own little rain forest."

"The home is in a great location. Very spacious for my family of 4. Check in process was easy. The only issue we had wasn't with the home. The neighbor's dogs barked all night. No control over that."

"We loved our stay! The place was comfy, clean and airy, just as in the photos. It was nice to have a well equipped kitchen to save on eating out. All in all a delightful home away from home. Location is perfect, an easy walk to downtown and short drive to swimming beaches. We hope to stay here again on our next visit to the Big Island!"

"This was an amazing house, with about 4-5 rooms all to ourselves. There was full kitchen and cooking facilities, and some snacks and cooking materials (milk, sauces, etc) had been left for us to use. Each room was an Aladdin's cave of souvenirs and oddities, attached to the wall or ceiling. There was an amazing little garden, with a pond, which had some very noisy frogs in it. There was veranda and porch, so we could sit outside and have a drink. It was like living in a hobbit house or something out of a fairy tale, and made the experience truly magical. Shops were a 20min walk or 5min drive away, but once shopping was done there was a huge fridge to store it all in. All mod cons were there, TV, aircon (in the bedroom), shower, wifi, etc. There was even a cheap laundry service with 24h return. It also had a free covered off-road parking space. If you want somewhere to stay that is truly memorable, stay here. It beats a boring hotel any day!"
