The building is older but everything went well!

This trip was a girls night out with visiting Meijers Gardens on Saturday afternoon then dinner then an evening of playing canasta (cards). Then Saturday was going to be a shopping day in Holland. We were at the gardens til they closed then grabbed some dinner and came back to play cards. We Were told the lobby was closed at 10pm and we could NOT be in the lobby area play cards. There was NO way possible at all to play canasta in our room. We told Amy (the front desk person at the time) that it was a very quiet card game and we wouldn’t disturb anyone at all. She would not let us!!! It totally ruined the whole purpose of our weekend. Gardens/canasta and shopping!! We were very disappointed and will not be looking at Holiday Inn locations for our regular girls evening out. Ever again. We do this every other month and have been for over a year and have Never not been accommodated at any other hotel chain anywhere. We are all young seniors (in our 60’s) are not partyers and are not loud or unruly. We clean up after ourselves as well. You have REALLY ruined our weekend this trip by not allowing us the play our canasta game for a few hours this past Friday night.
