Extremely clean rooms, helpful staff. The restaurant is truly amazing. We arrived on the Blue Train and stayed 3 nights on the way to Victoria Falls. The driver said most guests arrive or deposit by the Blue Train or Rovos Rail and spend only 1 night. What a pity! The hotel is such a wonderful experience in itself. The driver took us to the Botanical Gardens which is really a very nice park one day and the Zoo the next. He wanted us to see the Union Building and statue of Nelson Mandela. I was not initially interested, but it was wonderful to see and it made him so happy to show it to us.

A bitter taste with class

The staff was friendly and helpful. Hower NOBODY bothered to show us how to use the coffee machine, tv and aircon. The breakfast was not what we ordered and when we complaint about it, they brought us a bunch of cookies that fell apart with no taste and crumbed so much we could not even butter it.

Highly recommend luxury guesthouse

Must be one of the most beautiful guest houses I have stayed. Absolutely beautiful art, tasteful and comfortable furnishing and the friendliest of staff. Very luxurious linens and comfortable bed. Food was also exceptional. Wish I could have stayed longer. So peaceful and perfect! Not too big like a commercial hotel but not too small that you feel like your in someone else’s house.
