The hotel was not hard to find. Was clearly stated in the building entrance what floor to go to to check in. Room was excellent. The daily breakfast was excellent and each day there was different choices. The hotel is situated in a very good location close to most all of the major amenities. Staff were friendly and helpful to the best they could given the language difference. All around a good place to stay.

if you're looking to get the whole Chongqing experience, do not stay here! The location of this hotel is terrible and it's very far away from all tourist spots. Typically it take us 20 to 30 minutes to call a car from where we are back to the hotel at night. Another thing is I feel like the hotel staff is incredibly unprofessional. They do not wear uniforms and do not greet you at all. Also, the rooms are not soundproof. One night at 2am we literally got woken up by people next-door yelling because the rooms were not soundproof. I would say that the only good thing about the hotel is that it's clean and there's a self service laundry on the eighth floor. But other than that, the location is not great and you can get a hotel for the same price but near jiefangbei.

"This is an okay Hotel. Area is busy because of where it is located. If you are planning to visit major tourist attractions, it’s best to stay in Zhoulong area. "The Hyatt regency is fairly far from most sights in Chongqing. Everything is often on the other side of the river which means a 25-30 minute Didi drive.
