The staff where a great help ,even when inconvenient, the room was pretty clean ,cleaned most days ,shower was great older type fridge but handy ,TV aerial cable was too short just watched YouTube on my phone internet was great

My thoughts
The room was clean, comfortable, and affordable. The staff was friendly and helpful, and the location was convenient for Salah. Overall, it was excellent value for money, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a budget-friendly and enjoyable stay. There is a parking adjacent to the hotel who charges 50 nis per night.

A very nice hotel with staff who are very eager to help each and every guest. A very well situated hotel close the Old City of Jerusalem at an affordable price. They made me a very healthy tasty breakfast.

Our stay at the New Capital Hotel was wonderful, especially given the situation of the conflict. The staff were very thoughtful and kind, provided wonderful food and support. The location close to the old city is also perfect.

Great Location
Great Location, easy to walk to the old city. Only 10 minutes walk to the tram stop. Nice room with comfortable bed. Breakfast is varied with a good selection of foods. Free water and coffee all day. Staff are polite and helpful. We would choose this hotel again.

Location is right next to the old city - about a 5 - 10 min walk to Herod's Gate and 15 or so to the Damascus Gate (and the light rail and the buses) The room was clean and spacious and everything worked. Shower was hot, great water pressure and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was great every day and the guy attending it was fantastic. The staff was very accommodating and helpful. Plenty of restaurants nearby, plus super easy to get to the light rail. You do not ever need a taxi. The only negative it was cold outside (12) and although the room had heat, it was not enough to keep the room very warm. Thanks for a great stay New Capitol.

The hotel is a 3-star but the front desk staff went out of their way to make sure we had a good stay, especially the gentleman who was there in the evening. The complimentary breakfast was not bad and the beds were comfortable. Nothing fancy about this hotel, but friendly service made up for the lack of luxury.

The desk clerk / manager was incredibly welcoming from the moment I arrived, helping me carry my suitcases up the steps. Great room, great location near the Old City, parking right next to the hotel, very good breakfast.

Lobby’s and rooms could have been much cleaner, all carpets needed a good hover with a vacuum cleaner. Clean towels, ever day and a good food selection at breakfast time were positives. Hotel in a good location for walking into the old city, also close to bus station should you wish to use local, bus. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
