decent

Pros: room size and cleanliness.
Cons: Bathrooms and wifi
Location: lots of stores and restaurants.
The bathroom was cramped. Using the toilet was awkward and uncomfortable. I don't think a larger person could even use it. The wifi was slow. Otherwise the room was clean comfortable. The complimentary breakfast was good. There are lots of restaurants in close proximity. I would stay again.

A short stay

Posted 16-Sep-2016
Pros: Very close to the Journal Square PATH train.
The hotel was booked for one night as an intermediate stage between leaving my apartment and moving. The room (kingsize bed) was lovely. Very large and airy. The only negatives were that I couldn't get the wifi to work (and since I was only there a few hours, I eventually figured that it didn't matter enough.) and also that the key card machine was malfunctioning when I arrived... so every time I left, I needed to get a staff member to let me back into my room. That was, however, fixed by the time I left.

Used as overnight stop on way to see statue of liberty. Served that function fairly well. Difficult to drive to. No on site overnight parking, but public garage one block away.

Price is quite reasonable as compared to hotels in Manhattan. Facilities are not bad.

Ladies at the reception not helpful and so aggressive. The sales manager and Carlos at the reception were more than perfect. Food is average. Good location. Smelly room.

It's adequate

Posted 07-Aug-2016
Pros: Clean
Cons: Decor, and maybe more space to be available at breakfast.
Location: New York City!
We were going to New York but I didn't want to drive in Manhattan. This was fairly easy to get to. Parking was a block away. It was 16 dollars for 24 hours. The path was a block away which made it convenient to get to Manhattan. The hotel was clean a tad outdated but it wasn't bad. We will stay here again.

Clean and close to NJ Path, but room is dated

Posted 03-Aug-2016
Pros: Within walking distance (several blocks) to NJ Path for a healthy average person. A value for an affordable stay just outside of NY. Cons: Room and furniture are both dated. However, room & bathroom are clean, simple, and good-sized. Sofa-bed and mini-fridge in room as well. There is an odd medicinal-like scent in #517. (May be too strong/offensive to some.) No onsite parking. Only offsite paid structure parking at $16/day for autos/small SUVs.

Not worthy

Booking through Expedia isn't the same as what they offer. Expedia says 3 guests room, when I arrived I found 1 king bed only! Front desk staff where terrible in their argument with me. The lifts are terrible as well, they are tiny, old, move slowly etc. I didn't expect such thing when I saw the room pictures on Expedia, obviously they take pictures of the best part of their hotel to advertise it!
