The countertop near the window was dirty, the shower leaked , and had rust around the shower drain, toilet ran at will, the room had a mildew smell. The check in was smooth, our keys worked once and we had to get them to reset them, there was nowhere to place our bar of soap when taking a shower we had to use a cup to hold our soap while showering. I guess you get what you pay for. We picked this particular hotel because it was close to our family that we were visiting, and for the price .

Recently stayed at Aloft Jacksonville for a weekend getaway and had a great experience. The hotel was very clean, modern, and well-managed. You can definitely tell it’s a newer property because everything still feels fresh and well maintained compared to some of the older nearby hotels. Staff was professional, and the overall atmosphere was relaxing and comfortable. Would definitely stay again.

The desk staff were wonderful, as usual. However, this time we had a toilet that didn’t flush hardly at all. They sent someone with a plunger. That didn’t help because it needed to be fixed or replaced. They never came back to do anything. Then we reported ants in our room. (5th floor?) No food around but they were all over the counters by the windows. No one ever came to check and do something about them. By the third night they were crawling around in the beds. Not a good experience this time.

The welcome at the desk was very informative and helpful after a very long day of traveling. Fresh coffee on-site enabled me to start my day feeling blessed. The gym facilities were excellent , with clean towels and water available. The decor inside the lobby area was extremely welcoming and the colors were vibrant.
