"I didn’t know this before I book, apparently this hotel was ranked 2nd golf resort in Japan. The hotel is old but very well maintain, on site onsen is very nice, the only thing I didn’t like was the restaurant option is very little and it doesn’t really up to my liking, everything else is far from the hotel so it’s hard to go out and eat"
"Easy shuttle bus to and from Shimoda train station. Friendly and helpful staff. Clean spacious room. Clean swimming pool and onsen area. Easy access to the beach and 7 Eleven nearby."
"The room was nice and spacious. As others have noted the decor is a little dated, however, the room is breathtaking. Staff was very warm and helpful. They were so sweet- as we were leaving several staff members came out to bow and wave to us (it made us feel valued as customers). The sushi bar was a special treat. The onsen was very relaxing, with a lovely view

"The property was very relaxing and tranquil. The staff was friendly and took good care of us. The morning breakfast was delicious and had a variety of things my picky palate liked. The only drawback is the steps to get to the beach. You need to be in relatively good shape to make it there. Otherwise, no complaints."
"The hotel is located in a peaceful area overlooking the ocean. The living room and bedrooms are very spacious, and kitchen is well equipped. Parking is very easy, would highly recommend for traveling with a car."
