"Myself and my wife booked this cottage as I was competing in a mountain bike event nearby. The cottage was perfect for our needs with large modern bright rooms and ample space. The garden looked very well kept with patio doors leading onto it. The parking itself was ideal with a courtyard immediately outside, just make sure you have checked the exact location first as the last 100m or so are on a narrow gravel road which isn't the obvious way if you haven't checked it out first.I would...

"This gave us everything we were looking for. The cottage itself is well kitted out, and has everything that is needed, but the quiet county location is perfect. Sited near the main road, but not close enough to be bothered by traffic noise, so you can get out and about easily, there are also walks from the door so that you can just leave the car and head out for the day."

"My friends and I had a wonderful weekend stay at Seabank. The property is homely and cosy (especially once the coal fire is up and running!) and the large kitchen areas made cooking and dining together very straightforward for our group of six. The local pub is less than 10 minutes' walk, although make sure to take a torch if you'll be returning in the dark! I would highly recommend Seabank to anyone looking for a base to explore the nearby walks and sights, or just for a quiet getaway."

"We spent a week in May in Cutlar’s Lodge. The weather overall was kind which gave the estate something of an Edwardian summer feeling. Absolutely beautiful with a delicious hint of eccentricity! "The cottage was amazing and very well equipped, spotlessly clean and modern but very comfortable, with a very welcome selection of treats waiting for us. We know the area well so it was the perfect location for us to do a bit more discovering of Dumfries and Galloway. Would certainly recommend the cottage and we hope to get there again."
