"This is easily the nicest hotel I have ever stayed at and I'm not sure it is really close. The hotel itself is obviously gorgeous with all the amenities you could want, but the real differentiating factor was the staff. The staff were incredibly friendly from the moment we checked in to the moment we left. Francesco at the front desk in particular was fantastic but all of the restaurant staff were there to answer any question and try to solve any issue. "Perfect spot to relax for a week. Rooms are a good size and the pool is nice and spacious. Plus, the staff were really friendly and helpful. Only a few downsides: the pool lining is black so the water gets really hot; the air con isn’t very efficient so rooms don’t get super cold; the hotel is a decent walk from most parts of the island so you need to take the hotel shuttle, which charges €5 per person each time. There is a sister hotel closer to the restaurants but lacks a pool. "
