"This hotel was recommended by a friend who lives in Rio and I understand why. The location is near the Ipanema beach, safer than Copacabana, the rooms and facilities are nice and clean, and the staff is friendly and helpful. We reserved the 6 hour city/Cristo tour with them which was a good choice. We also enjoyed the spa for massages which were also very nice. "

The general condition of the rooms is not the best, toilet did not work properly, shower leaked onto the floor and had mold. The breakfast was very simple. "Dona Marguerita uma senhora de 84 anos muito simpática que faz de tudo para ajudar os seus clientes. Não tem como se sentir em casa. Toda manhã vc acorda e a mesa café da manhã já está repleta, no período da tarde nos chamávamos para tomar um cafezinho… tudo de bom. Já se hospedamos 2 vezes lá e com certeza se voltarmos para o Rio já sabemos onde vamos se hospedar de novo. Agora localidade muito bem centralizada, 3 quadras do mar,( praia de Ipanema ) algumas quadras da lagoa, proximo da estação...

"Atendimento e localização ótima - porém o quarto tinha os ar-condicionados ruins, com mau cheiro e com barulho, controles remoto não funcionam e portas e prateleiras quebradas e sem puxadores - achei sujo e a limpeza tbm não foi boa, recomendo não usar o serviço ou antes de aceitar o quarto, peça para subir e ver a instalação oe exija seu direito de um quarto melhor."
