The Urban Newtown

2/10 Terrible

"Front desk was unattended when we arrived. Had to wait 15 minutes to check in. Toilet was faulty, cistern did not refill after flushing, I had to refill the cistern with the kettle. My partner used the toilet in the foyer. Told front desk that night, they did nothing. When checking out the next day, I told the front desk, said someone will be in touch. Haven't heard a peep. Sent an email. Haven't heard a peep. Terrible customer service."

"An overnight stay with my mum and sister. Room and linen were clean. The family room is odd though. And lacking some tlc. Only one bed side lamp next to the king and only one bedside table next to the queen. Only 2 teacups in a room designed for 4 people. No pictures on the bare walls and only small mirror above the sink in the ensuite size bathroom. Over all happy with the stay but I’d say the room was over priced given the above."

"The bathroom was okay. The rest of the room was disastrous. Paint was peeling on the walls and the skirting board was coming apart. The furnishings were very old. The bathtub was gross, it was the sole reason we booked the room. My partner didnt feel safe there so at 11:30pm at night, we just left and paid for accomodation somewhere else."
