"This is a lovely and private home in the Catskills surrounded by an impressively maintained garden in the Catskills. The house is well-situated near several hiking trails--Huckleberry Point, for example, is less than 5 minutes away by car--and it is also less than an hour to get to either Woodstock to the south or Hudson to the northeast. The owner was responsive and clearly cares deeply about the house, which he designed and built. We would definitely rent again."

"This place is, in the best possible way, a blast from the past! A nice, quaint roadside motel with a mountain vibe! Great views of the Catskills from the small hill where there’s a fire pit and Adirondack chairs for relaxation and lounging. Re-read Rip Van Winkle after a fantastic dinner at Deer Mountain Inn as it got dark looking upon the mountains where the story took place. Picturesque and perfect! Had the entire motel to myself and it was so nice, quiet, peaceful and relaxing. Wonderful experience!"

"Beautiful unique lodge in the mountains! Lovely staff, super fun games room, tons of amazing hiking, delicious coffee. Fireplaces and soaker tubs, comfy beds and birds!! Truly loved it:) We are plant based and survived and they helped / oat milk and overnight oats were appreciated. My only tiny note is you could hear cars from the patio so its not dead quiet but pretty quiet:) Would def go back!!"

"I can't say enough about our stay here. My husband and I invited our 3 young adult children and their partners for a ski weekend. It was hard to get them to ski because they wanted to hang at the house! First, it is entirely renovated with contemporary modern furnishings but entirely cozy and comfortable. It is impeccably clean. Most notable is that Matt has thought of everything - absolutely everything - from kitchen utensils to bags for packing food to materials to light the wood stove fire, to toiletries, etc, etc, etc. We enjoyed ping pong in the basement and games by the fire, the hot tub, and walks in the neighborhood. It's a beautiful, spacious house - the 8 of us were entirely comfortable with plenty of room. Everyone wants to return!"

"Dear Management, We're currently on our way back to Syracuse on I-90. I followed the departure instructions, but due to our packed VW GTS, I couldn't open the trash bin. Instead, I placed the trash in the blue recycle bin. I wanted to express my appreciation for the wonderful stay at your VRBO home. I highly recommend it and have already posted a glowing review on my Facebook page. However, I did want to provide some feedback. My partner, Alessandro, isn't an outdoorsy person and spent most of his time reading. He suggested a few additions to make the stay more enjoyable for book lovers and musicians: A reading light A TV Acoustic guitar strings (the B string on the guitar is currently broken) Guitar straps A variety of guitar picks A mouth tuner or a phone app to tune instruments An electric piano I was able to stream football games on my iPad using Apple TV. It's worth noting that a 4x4 vehicle is highly recommended for navigating the area. I also wanted to express my gratitude to Josh, who was extremely helpful during our stay. He took me grocery shopping on Saturday and even helped get our car out of a snowbank. He's a great asset to your team, and I appreciated his kindness and hospitality. I tipped him $100 for his troubles. Thank you again for the wonderful stay. I'm looking forward to renting again in the future with girl friends that are outdoorsy. .
