![Platte clove road.. A narrow, two-lane road that climbs 1,200 vertical feet in 1.4 miles .. Have grades as high as 24% .. If you want to travel this road it will be closed in the winter .. It's to steep for trucks to plow .. There are not guard rails so it has great views .. Low gears are better to climb it .. My partner and I were celebrating our anniversary and then sent us a complimentary bottle of champagne to the room. There was so much to do around the property but the soaking tub in the room was my favorite part. "We had such a lovely stay! Our room was cozy and warm, and the staff were super friendly and welcoming. We especially enjoyed the little surprise continental breakfast with tea, coffee, and snacks by the fireplace—it made our mornings so nice. The jacuzzi and pool were amazing, and we had a great time relaxing. Dinner at the restaurant was delicious, and our server, Kinga, was wonderful! Everything about our stay was perfect. The only tiny thing was that the bathroom didn’t have hair conditioner (shampoo and body wash were provided), but it really didn’t bother us. We would definitely come back—highly recommend! 😊"
