"Room was cozy. Wish it had an additional lock on the door. Spa was amazing glad they recommended I go early to enjoy the other amenities they offer. BBS bar was good. Only problem they don’t have a way to cook food for anyone with allergies. "

"Awesome location and great house with well stocked kitchen. Pickleball was fun for all. Nice pool with plenty of sun. Amazing beach with beautiful sand. Close to many activities including surfing, space center, putt putt, go carts many restaurants also close to the grocery store. Enjoyed 2 shuttle launches from the balcony. Dan had great communication and was very helpful. We would definitely return in the future. "

"This was our third stay at the DoubleTree Melbourne. We returned because we like the beds and the location, and because we’ve had good experiences at other DoubleTree hotels. Unfortunately, this one has been by far the worst. The main issue was the front desk. We had reserved a first-floor room with a garden, but they attempted to change our reservation and ultimately gave us one of the worst rooms in the hotel, right next to the parking lot. There was no sense of appreciation for returning guests. The staff came across as arrogant, with forced smiles and little willingness to help—almost every request was met with a “no,” followed by a routine apology without any real solution. It’s disappointing to see how a hotel with great potential can be turned into such an unpleasant experience due to poor service."

"The room was excellent with a great view. Half the hotel was under renovation including dining areas. The pool and pool bar open but door Gerry-rigged with tape to get in and out. Pool open but area needed cleaning. Staff was very nice and accommodating. Hope once renovation is complete they are up and running with better in house facilities I would try again. "

"Dear fellow travelers, believe all the reviews and do not book this home.We are experienced travelers who have been visiting this area for years – all wonderful trips except for this one. From the outset, we were handled as if we were irresponsible spring breakers rather than long-time, respectful travelers. Any and all communication with the owner was dismissive, rude, and unnecessarily combative. What should have been a relaxing month long vacation turned into a frustrating situation we were constantly trying to manage.The pool—one of the main reasons we booked—was never cleaned during our entire 30 day stay, this despite the listing indicating it would be serviced *weekly*. It was full of debris.Access to the property was difficult. We were sent two keypad codes, but only one worked— and then that stopped working 2 days into a 30-day stay. The owner was notified immediately and acknowledged the issue but never fixed it, declaring it “complicated.” (We later discovered previous renters had documented the exact same issue in a review, so this was a known issue.) The lock is an electronic keypad with no keypad buttons (i.e. only a screen). Even with the working code, the keypad screen itself wasbroken and did not light up. Midway through the trip the smoke detector started beeping loudly(likely just needing to be replaced). We notified the host -twice but nothing was done. A safety issue. The house was very clean -thanks to her excellent cleaning people. Don't rent "

"Beautiful beach. Nice to have the tiki bar resturant on site. Music was a lil loud the one night only as there was a wedding they had cocktail hour right under our room. There was also a tent set up so that took up chunk of property. Close to restaurants bars etc. A little deceiving about the chairs at the beach. The pictures showed them but you have to rent them "

"Very clean hotel & excellent location. The breakfast area/lobby is too small and can get cramped in a hurry but that is an overall design problem of this entire chain rather than an issue at this particular location. I can recommended it with no reservations."
