"We stayed at Farmhouse Lodge’s Chicken house for 2 days before Christmas and absolutely loved it. The Chicken house has everything- fully equipped kitchen, comfortable beds and bathroom. The location is wonderful since you can go and see several waterfalls and black sands beaches near by. Highly recommend to anyone who likes to explore that area of Iceland."

"We had a wonderful stay! The house had amazing views and was very comfortable for our group of nine. We especially loved the mountain scenery and being right next to horses — such a peaceful and unique setting. The home was easy to find, well-equipped, and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The shower setup was a little quirky, but nothing we couldn’t handle. Overall, a great experience!"

Perfectly located for shopping and bus stop 9 for tours. Lovely hotel... great breakfast and really good restaurant with excellent food. Room a little small but not an issue as we spent so little time in it. Clean with good facilities. Excellent value for money."

"Have stayed at the Aurora 3 or 4 times as it’s so easy to get to/from the airport for an early flight or connection. Loved the new refurbished room and bathroom during my latest stay. Very clean, great breakfast, friendly staff. The new bathroom needs hooks for clothes/towels and a bath towel for the floor as it gets wet when showering, but other than that everything was great. "

"Fantastic location, unexpectedly large room, very clean, modernized bathroom, amenities available downstairs 24/7\. Two extremely minor nitpicks: \* The church next door rings bells frequently. The sound isolation in our room was ok, but we still heard them at night. Hotel did provide earplugs. \* The TV was small and pretty barebones - only live TV and a "pay per view" app. You can connect other devices with an HDMI cable, but it's not as nice as being able to sign in to your own streaming apps."

"Hotel is in an excellent location, right in the heart of Reykjavik with great transport links and easily accessible. Staff on the front desk were warm and welcoming and catered to our needs. The room was clean and spacious, and we were on the 8th floor which had an amazing view over the city. Overall, we would definitely stay here again and would recommend to any family or friends that are visiting Reykjavik. "
