This hotel is absolutely beautiful! From the grounds, to the staff and the food, this place is a must visit. We had the most amazing experience staying here and can’t wait to come back in the near future!
Staff are amazing, really really friendly and helpful. Can easily walk to old town (as long as you are are mobile or not injured as there’s a hill to go up)
No gym sadly but the pool is great and really quiet.
Rooms are clean and bright. Overall, good value for money
90% of the staff were very helpful and were passionate about where they work. I loved being helped from the car to my room by Toni. He found that I loved history as well and taken upon himself to show me around. Some however did not seem happy to serve, I remember calling to find where the bath tub drain plug was and a snooty lady at reception made it seem like it was a stupid questions and simply told me I cannot use the tub. Didn’t expect that at this level of hotel.
Avoid this hotel at all costs; the pool area is a disaster, the hotel is dirty, smelly and the worst I have ever stayed. If booked cancel and go somewhere else.
Absolutely amazing hotel. Great views, incredible building, excellent food. And frankly - because it’s new - extremely pleasantly priced. May not stay like that for long
This property is classy, understated elegance. It took 22 years to restore this fortress turned resort. Our room was spacious, well appointed with a private balcony with extraordinary views. The curated art and artistry of design was done with taste and consideration of the hotel design. In restoration Roman and Muslim ruins were discovered which are part of the hotel. An extraordinary, unique place without question.
Property itself was beautiful, but a staff member entered our room without knocking twice, once at 10:30 at night. We suspect it was attempted theft as the staff likely thought we were out for the night. We felt very unsafe and won’t return
