The property was absolutely beautiful especially with the sunset views and Es Vedra in the front. The staff were super friendly and very accommodating.
Nice location. Beautiful views from adult pool area. Well appointed rooms (illy coffee and Molton Brown products). Staff is friendly but useless. Coffees ordered did not arrive, check in took long, they tried to upsell us on an “special offer” that was way above Expedia pricing. Also upon arrival there was no electricity in the room and later one of our bathrooms turned out to have no water. All was fixed quickly but I expect not to have to call for these basics at this price. An apology never came either. Lastly: I think the Laguna/kids area pool is subpar: fake grass, muddy lounging area, hot; no views. Feels more like a three star area
Our family had an outstanding experience staying at the 7Pines Resort. The staff are particularly worth mentioning for their friendliness, hospitality and professionalism. We look forward to coming back.
The resort on its own is lovely however it is not 5 star by any stretch of the imagination.
I found the staff did not treat all guests equally and some were very rude, dismissive and unhelpful. Not one person remembered my name during my stay and I was greeted with can I have your room number no how is your stay or is there anything you need. The only staff member who I felt was engaging and attentive was Amir who served me in the restaurant. During my stay there was 2 power cuts. One happened in the morning and the other happened during a storm the next day where the whole hotel suffered. Not something you’d expect for a ‘prestigious’ resort.
The amenities were poor in the suite no milk, a poor range of tea and coffee but a massive selection of alcohol which is fine if you’re a big drinker. I also found it odd that water you had to pay for again lots of 5 star resorts provide this for free.
Breakfast selection was poor and very limited. The waiter had gotten my drink order wrong and huffed and puffed when I asked for it to be changed. Not a great experience.
Amenities overall were again poor, no shop or facilities other than beach wear. Beds by the pool are 1st come 1st serve. This is something that needs addressing. When I’ve stayed at other 5star resorts you are allocated your lounger for your whole stay.
Overall the hotel lacks the attention to detail and its staff need to recognise everyone is on holiday irrespective of wealth. Definitely not worth the money.
