Halifax Hall
10/10 Excellent
"Clean room and a large shower. Impressed by towelling robe being supplied and loved the self service top up station for coffee tea milk sugar and biscuits. Had a really good coffee machine too. The breakfast was amazing help yourself continental style breakfast plus a menu for a fresh cooked to order breakfast which was cooked to perfection. Staff extremely helpful and nothing too much trouble. Would definitely recommend"

"Cheap and basic but clean. We stayed on the 6th floor and it was extremely hot, no air con. Expedia price says £8-£9 for car parking but it was £12. Would stay again as a great price and ideal location for us ."
Best Western Stoke on Trent City Centre Hotel

"Customer service was brilliant at front desk. I asked if I could check in early after a 4 hr drive at 12 and staff was very accommodating. Room had all the necessary amenities and what I liked was it had an ironing board and iron. The room smelt of paint as may have been recently refurbished. Paid for parking at front desk as it was cheaper then paying at machine. Location is excellent. Thank you to the staff for making my stay a pleasant one."

"Over het algemeen was het goed ,klein probleem met plug vh bad en in begin met de stroom omdat deze automatisch weer uitschakeld uit veiligheids oogpunt .verder wel erg vriendelijk en goed ontbijt over all toch wel een 8,5 op 10."
Moorville Hall Hotel

"For the price I paid I wasn’t expecting it to be any good but that was not the case. Room was clean and tidy, comfy bed and a little balcony. The only issue I had was the shower, it was tiny I could barely lift my arms up, but that wouldn’t stop me from going back again. Friendly staff and the breakfast absolutely gorgeous so tasty and cooked fresh I would recommend 100% and I will be back."

"Lovely place but needs some improvements as dated and worn. bed and bathroom were clean and staff were polite , friendly and very helpful. Very nice area lovely view to sit outside also."
Buxton Crescent

"The hotel is ideally located to enjoy the best of Buxton. It is beautifully decorated, with a real sense of luxury. Our room was spotless and the bed very comfy. Staff were helpful and polite. My only disappointment was the breakfast service and in all truth this was completely unacceptable. It was apparent that the kitchen and service was heavily understaffed, which impacted upon the cleanliness, insufficient stocks on the buffet service and delays serving food. Most people had a 45min delay for hot breakfast, and this resulted in us and a number of other guests requesting refunds. The serving staff were very apologetic and just looked worn out and embarrassed."
