"Clean and comfortable room. The hotel is right next to the castle in a unique location looking over Thun. There is an elevator up to the hotel which we didn’t realize until the second day. It’s located in the parking garage in old town. The elevator was a life saver!"

"The room is clean and nice. We like the bed, the mattress is comfortable with high-tech materials. It’s in the center of the old town, which is convenient to tour, dining, and shopping. The hotel reception is very nice and helpful."

"Lovely Stay on the lake front with private dock for swimming and lounge chairs and hammocks for relaxing. Great views from the balcony. Friendly staff. Good breakfast. There are a number of free parking spots right in front of the hotel first come first served. Tip: arrive early to get one. Bus #21 runs up and down the lake from Thun to Interlaken with a stop 100ft away. Bus fare is free to guests staying in hotels in the area. Beautiful time in Thun."

"The place was unique in Swiss culture. Lots of ambiance. It was well stocked with everything you would need. The views were spectacular. The lack of air conditioning was a drawback on a hot day, but fans were provided. The hosts were very friendly and helpful, but odd to have them having access to the area between the toilet and the bedrooms for them to come in and out of their upstairs living quarters. Cute place and we enjoyed our stay."

"Vielen Dank für den Aufenthalt in dieser tollen Wohnung mit 1A Lage.Es hat an nichts gefehlt. Der Fußweg zum See beträgt über Treppen wirklich nur 2-3 Minuten. Die Wohnung selbst ist sehr gepflegt und geräumig. Einzig die Kirchenglocke stört jede viertel Stunde, auch nachts, was das Schlafen bei offenem Fenster erschwert. Mit Ohrstöpsel klappr es besser. Eine Sitzgelegenheit für den Balkon mit Seeblick wäre schön gewesen Ende Mai.Aber das ist Meckern auf hohem Niveau.Was aber wirklich gestört hat, war die schlechte Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter. Ich hatte bereits Monate vorher eine Frage gestellt und habe nie Antwort erhalten, weder über Handy, SMS noch über Fewodirect. Auch bzgl der Check-in Daten musste Fewodirect mit dem Vermieter Kontakt aufnehmen, dass er mir überhaupt geschrieben hat. Es ist mehr als mühsam, was sehr schade ist. Hierfür alleine gibt es 1 Punkt Abzug. Der Rest hat unsere Erwartungen übertroffen. Bzgl. der Anfahrt zum Gebäude sei noch erwähnt, dass das Navi 1 Straße tiefer zu 21A leitet. Das eigentliche Haus liegt genau 1 Straße oben drüber. Hier mussten wir anfangs etwas suchen.Jedenfalls hatten wir eine tolle Zeit in Oberhofen und danken sehr dafür, dass wir hier sein durften."
