The statues on outside lit beautifully, so was my room by the same lights. Hotel is hard to find, room was lovelyand warm, but bathroom smelled, toilet was stained, toilet bowel cracked. Let’s not beat around the bush, it wasn’t clear that this room had a ‘communal bathroom’ which as a business traveller and 43, is not something I would ever consider - but apparently it was on the listing….now considering this and the fact that you are greeted by two towels and a toilet roll would indicate that this is a hostel - nothing wrong with that but the area is interesting with other types of accommodation surrounding the hostel, it didn’t feel threatening but definitely not a country house hotel that it may try to give an impression of. Happy to go to the kitchen for a hot drink etc. Shame the light came on in the night as it was sensitive if you moved in the bed!
